About
The Denver City Park Golf Course is an 18-hole, municipal golf course with a traditional layout. The 72-par course offers over 6,700 yards of golf. It is conveniently located five minutes from downtown Denver, across the street from the Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Natural History. Small, sloping greens and tight fairways lined with trees make the course seem harder than it is. There is also unique bunkering to provide more challenge for experienced golfers. The location provides spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains as well as the city. On the premises, there are several amenities that are characteristic of a private club such as pro shop, restaurant, and even a club repair shop.

Decent layout and price
Green are in good condition, pace of play slow even on weekdays, once in a while you will see marshal but not much help

Really Fun Course
In town for the day and decided to play City Park. Especially for the cost of the round ($33 + $7 for push cart), it was a great time. The practice facilities were great, although the range is on mats despite plenty of good-looking grass. Starter was friendly and had everyone going out on time. Pace of play was perfect - never caught anyone, never felt pushed. Despite a flat appearance online in photos, there is plenty of elevation on this course. Some really fun elevated tee shots, blind tee shots or approaches, interesting doglegs. The par 3 holes were fun and challenging enough. Tee boxes were in great shape, fairways were nice, and the greens were rolling pretty well despite some ball marks from heavy summer play - not too bad but we were fixing four or five extra on every green today. Push carts were okay, no straps but I only had an issue one time. Carts are simple, no GPS but did have a pin sheet. Clubhouse and restaurant are big and clean. Highly recommend this course.

Favorite city course
Very enjoyable, especially the back 9, with Denver downtown skyline in the background for most of the holes, it gives you a unique feeling playing in the middle of metropolis… The course has many matured trees providing difficulty for the layout as well as much needed shades in the recent heat wave. All the greens are undulating and hard to read, that’s a great charm found in the older city courses… The pace of play is slower than other courses in greater Denver area, but it is understandable given the location and demand….

Fun course and great value
Such a fun course after the redesign! This course has some great holes! Really enjoyed my round and the pro shop staff was super friendly. Great value for the money!

City Park at the Crack of Dawn
This course lives up to the hype I read about, one of the finest municipal courses I’ve ever had the privilege to play. The city and mountain views at sunrise were a nice bonus.

City Park Course
The course is the best bang for your buck in the city. But the pace is absolutely atrocious. The pace was truly hard to endure and we left after 12 holes

GET UO TO DAYE AND STOP TAKING CARDS TO RESTURAUNT.. I HAD TO DRIVE 45 minutes back to get my card.☹️

Slow slow
It took us 2 hours to play the first 4 holes!!!
Not to mention the time was pushed back 30 minutes. Seriously, this place needs a marshals to keep the pace of players. Bad day at the course.
