A neat experience
A colleague and I went out on a Monday afternoon and got paired with two longtime local members, a father-son duo. Nervous for the first hole or two (language barrier, do they like Americans playing their course, etc.) we didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be a fabulous round of golf. They couldn't have been nicer and it really was a great experience. The golf course was about what you would expect. It was solid, in decent shape and was a shortish, cute layout. You don't necessarily go to Germany for a golf trip, but if you happen to be in the area, take some time to go out and play a few holes.
