Spring Valley Golf Course
About
Spring Valley Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course that features a rolling, hilly terrain with stately Cottonwood trees that are over 75 years old sprinkled throughout. Designed by Ross Graves, the golf course took over three years to construct, which is understandable considering its elevation of 6400 feet and its hilly terrain. The course is 7,180 yards from its championship tees with a par of 72. Golfers will have to employ their short game for this course. Spring Valley Golf Course's signature hole is the 17th, which is a par-3 that requires a tee shot not only through trees but also over a creek that winds through the course. There is also plenty of wildlife, including rabbits, deer, and antelope, for those who enjoy animals.

Update / Discusses conditions
I have played SVGC for the last 4yrs. I'd say 4times a yr. This was the worst I have seen the Fairways. Alot of Ground under repair... but NO markings to determine that. I had to ask a Club Member what's going on with the Ground. I will be back again, maybe closer to late Fall time.
You Get What You Pay For
Beautiful scenery and nice staff. Greens very soft & fairways in horrible condition.
Slow play always!
5 1/2 hour round is unacceptable. Caught in high wind rain storm because we were on the course longer then we should have been. The ranger was unable to get others to speed up their play. No consequence, so why would they. Manage tee times!!!!
Bad experience
No carts available until 5 minutes before tee time. 2 foursomes waiting on every tee box. Quit after taking 3 1/4 hours to play the front 9.
We call it The Cowboy Country Club
I have been a member for the pass few years at Spring Valley Golf Course. It a great place to play golf, Fun Staff and enjoyable experience. The people that I have invited, have really enjoyed the course.
My first time playing here this year and was very disappointed. Played multiple rounds over the past three years and was pleased, but not now. First thing was the odd sewage smell in the clubhouse. The big disappointment was the course condition, mainly the greens. They were bumpy and poorly manicured, had to make it an automatic two putt day. I would have understood if this was a muni but not when you pay $70 for a round. I will not be back anytime soon.
Joke of a golf course
Tee time was 2:24 on a Saturday. The round took 5 and a half hours. The pro shop allowed a 5 some in front of us. Didn’t get our carts until 2 minutes before our tee time.
This course used to be a hidden gem, not anymore. Extremely slow greens, overgrown tee boxes. Will not be returning. Stay away from this course.
Expect a Challenge
Course is in good shape. Cart girl not working everyday? Bring your A game this is a fun but not easy course.
It will jump out and bite you at times. Decent practice area.
Needs TLC
The fairways need some TLC. There are many brown/dirt patches. There is building going around the course, it can be quite noisy. I used to like playing this course for quiet and beautiful setting...not so much anymore.
Fun golf
Fun golf but has gotten overpriced. Value has disappeared
Not the worst, but definitely the worst course I’ve played for $75
Staff were all great, but the golf experience was not. I expected a slower round on a holiday, but zero enforcement of pace of play resulted in a 5+ hour round. The course is also in horrible shape. Fairways are dead, dandelions and weeds everywhere, no ball cleaners, etc. Still managed to have fun, so it wasn’t the worst experience, but I had to laugh at myself that I spent over $150 for two people to play on such a bad course. I’d probably pay there again for $40 if I didn’t have any other options, but the prices here need to come way down or the quality needs to come wayyyy up.
