Broken Tee Englewood - Par-3 Course
About
One of the golf courses at Broken Tee Englewood is a nine-hole, par-3 course and there is also a championship-length course. Previously under the name Englewood Golf Course there had only been one course, but after a few renovations, the facility's name changed to Broken Tee Englewood and two Perry Dye-designed courses are now offered. The nine-hole municipal course offers 1,750 yards of golf at its longest tees. The course offers great practice for beginning golfers. Broken Tee Englewood also boasts an excellent junior golf program, which makes this municipal facility perfect for family outings. On the premises there are several convenient amenities such as a lighted driving range, pro shop, and restaurant. Englewood is a spikeless facility.

Nice course, needs a starter or ranger to keep play up
We were behind 4 ladies that appeared to not know how to play golf or proper etiquette when there is a two some behind you and you are extremely slow players. It would have been helpful to have a ranger there to keep pace of play up. It made the round extremely difficult to enjoy.
Average course
It’s a good layout, some interesting design on the holes.
Greens are very hard to read,
Good value course
Great 18 holes with a good amount of variety. Driving range was still off mats, but putting green and chipping area are expansive. As of 3/23/24 one of the par 5s was closed due to nesting bald eagles and the hole has been converted to a par 3.
The eagles have landed.
Just know one of the hardest Par 5’s on the front range number 13 has been reduced to a Par 3 due to eagles nesting. Not sure that a good thing for my game but a great thing for wildlife. So let’s give them some peace and move around slowly and quietly and enjoy the round.
Greens for this time of year are fantastic and despite a tough winter on other areas, the staff is working hard with repairs where needed.
The restaurant is up and running quite well.
As far as I and many others I talk to this is in the top 10 of difficult courses on the front range. It’s very difficult to recover from errant shots so take the challenge and have fun!
Fun after work quicky
Layout is real friendly. Fun course to walk while waiting for southbound traffic to die down.
No need golf cart
It is CART PATH ONLY thru the off season.
You rather walk cause it is not too difficult.
Course condition is poor .
Need to take care of the Geese
Front nine needs some attention. The Geese are always there and goose poop all over the place. Running a dog on the course is a cheap option to improve conditions. Back nine very different from the front, but on both sides often danger of getting hit by golf balls on adjacent holes due to layout. Was cart path- only so call ahead if that is a deal breaker.
Always a good time at Broken Tee!
From check-in to driving off the lot, it’s always a great time playing at Broken Tee! The staff member that checked me in was very friendly and quick. They even had my 8-iron that I left a couple weeks ago! The carts there are some of the nicest I’ve used at any course. The course itself was in good condition especially this time of year in Colorado. No leaves this time either! Got done with the round in an hour. Pace of play was perfect. Strongly recommend this Par 3 course whether you’re a beginner or just have a short amount of time to hit the course! I’ll definitely be back.
Fun Morning at Broken Tee
Solid round. Only played 9 holes, but it was a fun time. Aside from leaves along the side of the fairways, the course itself was great.
This is probably the worst course I have ever played in my 50 years of golf
There are no redeeming qualities about the condition of this course. I can’t believe people play here
Good course that needs a manager
I played this course in early October and for this time of year, the course was in stellar condition.
The course is mostly open with a few pinch points either between trees on each side of a narrow section or between water traps, though that is not many holes.
The two concerns I had were:
1) The drink cart was not observed until hole 12.
2) the group 2 tee times ahead had *3* empty holes in front of them. Causing a massive slowdown that caused a course that I suspect could be played in 4:15 to play at 5:00 hours on a Monday at noon.
Good course, could use improvements.
Good, challenging course, interesting layout. Fairways and greens were well kept. They do need to make some infrastructure improvements to the area, the grounds, the cart paths, etc.. Overall, worth the money.
Snake Bit
No, I was not bitten by a snake. It seemed the the ball either bounced left or right but not forward. My playing partner last two balls that should have been in the fairway. The greens were pretty receptive or not. Overall, the course is in good condition. The front 9 was a little soggy in place. Overall it’s a good track as long as the pace of play is consistent.
