Broken Tee Englewood Golf Course
About
The Broken Tee Englewood Golf Course (formerly known as Englewood Golf Course) is one of two courses at the facility, the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. Formerly Englewood Golf Course, the Broken Tee Englewood Golf Course offers 6,836 yards of golf at its longest tees with a par of 72. The renovations that occurred during the time when it was being transformed from the Englewood Golf Course kept in mind the demand for a more challenging game of golf. The links-style course features elevation changes and requires accurate shots. The front nine holes also have water hazards that come into play on six of the holes. The facility accommodates all levels of golf with its two different courses and practice facilities. Englewood is a spikeless facility.

Can’t beat the price
Fun par 3 with some longer holes. 12 bucks per player and a nice clubhouse to have a beer after.
Difficult course, nice layout
Some pretty long shots over the water and lots of small hills over the fairway on the front 9. Back 9 was more flat and had wider fairways. I didn’t play too well but it was a nice challenge. The reviews for this course aren’t as good as others but I think it is a solid course with nice grass, the greens were the fastest I’ve played in Denver so far this season but still not as fast as I would prefer. Had a slow group ahead of us but finished 18 in 4.5 hours so not bad.
Pathetic management...
Booked tee time but had family issue and several calls to pro v shop not answered. Arrived late but since pace was slow was ok to join group at the turn. Shop personnel were ok, but, bigot manager was like no... telling co-worker reminded me why we stopped playing there last year... shop crew great but manometer... the worse...so battle begins with no-show p ayment..ain't going to happened...late (due to family issue) BUT DID SHOWUP...
Fun.... once you figure it out!
Because the 9 hole is situated next to the 18, it can get very easy to get confused about which green you should be aiming for....but that's true of almost any course you are unfamiliar with. I love the length of the par 3. Many holes allow for driver if you are not a long hitter.
Worst Golf Experience of 2023
This is my first time playing here, and I will never return. I have played a lot of golf this summer at many courses and this was far and away the worst condition course I have ever played. Almost entire 18 holes is under repair. It is not worth the money and I would play anywhere else before here. Play was also extremely slow and course is layed our very poorly. Very disappointing experience.
The course has a good layout and very friendly staff. Conditions of the course were very poor. Lots of dirt patches on the fairways and some greens.
So Many Biting Flies
If you play this course you absolutely need to wear long sleeves and pants. I don’t know if it’s the recent weather, or because the fairways are torn up and muddy, but there are an ungodly amount of biting flies. Didn’t matter if it was the tee box, fairway, or green, there were flies constantly biting us. There were times on certain holes I couldn’t even concentrate on playing my ball in the middle of fairway the flies were so bad. My lower legs are covered in welts. It’s a decent looking course, but they seriously need to speak with the groundskeeper team and get the muddy parts cleaned up and the flies under control.
Poor course conditions
The first 6 holes were some of the worst course conditions I've seen on any course this year. Brown spots or no grass at all in the middle of fairways and greens. Once we crossed the bridge to the other side of the course the conditions improved, but it was really unfortunate to see the bad conditions on the first 6 holes.
Awfully slow even for a holiday weekend.
I get it. It’s a holiday weekend it was busy but for it to be nearly a 5 1/2 hour round is insane. They ran out of carts around 12. As we got up to 10 tee there was a group of 6 people chilling on 18 blasting music and hanging out. Waiting for the group behind them which took 20 mins while we waited. They obviously caused a huge gap in play and caused us to continue to wait 5-10 mins between shots. They need a Marshall to push play along and not allow this regardless of a packed tee sheet.
Greens were ok shape but the boxes were awful.
