A fun course to play.
Overall a good course. Country club prices are way too high, Draft beer dispensers were not working & a beer was $4. Club house is old but clean. Course has no pro.
Machine operator
The greens are in incredible shape. If there was grass or live grass on the fairway I'd rank it a 4 bit not for 37$.
Good Course
Overall Holiday Hills Is a good course, year round. Greens are always in good shape and are some of the best in the area.
Course needs some love
Great place to play for a relaxed non rushed 18. But it does need some updating I play here often because it’s close but would play more if it had better care.
Nice little course
I like to play here for the reason you are not rushed and it is in decent playing condition
Needs Work
This course was a bit pricey considering it's current condition. Only 17 holes were playable with one being a temporary. To me that's not a round of golf. If you play this course you better have your head on a swivel. The holes are squished in tight with some overlap near the clubhouse. Holes one and nine are split by a driving range with absolutely no protection on either side!?!?!? Overall I would play again but for no more than $20.
Greens and fairways
Greens were pretty good a little slow. The fairways some good some not so good. Some hard to tell fairway from rough. Hard to find your ball when your in the rough.
Home course
I'm very bias, this is my home course where I learned to swing so that's why the rating is so high. However, the course is barely 6000 yards, it's not very challenging once you're off the tee box, and I will say this is the only place in Texas I've played with soft and slow greens.
Sprinklers
9 am tee time and every tee box was being watered during our round. Hard to tee off dodging sprinklers.
The course
The greens were good. The layout was fairly good but there are a few holes that I just don't like. It's hard to find your ball in the rough.
Go to
This is my 18 hole go to out of town course. Fun to play and well maintained,
Everything was good
Probably 3rd or 4th time playing this course and will continue to play. Staff is always friendly. Course is in good shape. I'd recommend giving it a try.
Greens are really nice
We had a great time out there. The bent grass greens are in great shape. A little slow but due to earlier rain they weren't able to mow but rolled very nice. A fun country course that gives you all you want. If your looking for a great little course to play I recommend Holiday Hills!
Golf
It's a decent spot to go kill some time - it's not a bad place to go it's just in poor shape but you can tell they are trying to make it a better place.
Fair and Score-able
Let me start off by saying I am reviewing a course that perfectly matches the bang for your buck ($20 or so). Very traditional small town course with back and forth fairways and simple layout. There is nothing difficult, except the wind, as every hole is easily laid out in front of you. Showcase of the course is green quality. Bent grass greens grown correctly and usually roll true at moderate speeds. Would recommend for the hot deal price as pace of play is rather quick and course is one to produce good scores.
great for the money
good value and the greens are some of the best around
