Great
Great course value and staff. Never disappointed it only gets better when the fairways green up.
Good course for the price.
Nice well kept course for amateurs. Wasn't a huge fan of the layout, there were several holes all bunched together tightly. Other than that I enjoyed it.
Good course for the price
We played on a Sunday morning and dealt with virtually no crowd. Would love to play the course when it was spring and the Bermuda was greener.

The course was in good shape and the rough kept us mindful of straying. The first nine plays back and forth of the highway. Noisy. The pro shop is hidden around the side and the stafff were less than enthusiastic. Over all as always fun, fun, fun.

Awesome layout, very nice people at Club house. Bent grass greens awesome, will diffently be back.
Recent rain has helped
Cool day and light rain during my round made everything else that much better.
Course was in great shape and grounds crew constantly working all day. It's worth the trip to play here.

Local home course.
HHCC has always been know for some of the best bent grass greens around. Course plays average in difficulty with exception to the par threes. Four of the par threes play over 180 yards from the tips. This course is for everyone to play and i would recommend it.
Not great but not many options in Mineral Wells
My wife and I were in Weatherford for the weekend and we were looking for a nice course to play nearby. The reviews I read on here described it as a 'hidden gem'. Sorry, but that's not the case here. The course wasn't in the greatest condition and had very few holes that presented any challenges. A couple of holes had water and I don't remember any sand except for maybe one hole. However, the greens were very small which made it hard to approach sometimes.
We only paid $25 each for an early AM tee time so that was nice but it was one of the easiest courses I've ever played. It's great for those who have trouble off the tee since it's so wide open. It makes it hard to lose a ball off the tee. There wasn't anybody in front of us or behind us either so it was nice to be able to play at whatever pace we wanted to.
Overall, not a place I'd recommend driving out to go play, but if you're out in the area, there's really not many other options that I've come across. However, I'd MUCH rather spend a little more money and go play Sugar Tree Golf Club in Lipan.

Course in good shape. Staff friendly. But the marshall, We were a threesome we caught up with the foursome ahead of us on #9. The twosome behind us on ten. The marshall
came up around #12. Had us let the two tee off with us so they could play on by us. We had to play behind the four the whole back 9. Never could understand his reasoning.

Awesome greens
Don't know why I put off trying this nice course for so long, but I'll definitely go back. Never was held up or pushed during the round which took 3.5 hrs. This is an old school course that is walkable but we took a cart. The absolute best thing about the course would be the bent grass greens. I was disappointed about how many divots were visible on these healthy, well cared for greens. If this was my home course, I'd spend more time on each green fixing the irresponsible players neclected pitch marks. It was easy to repair the necessary marks on my line, but still had dozens left to the next groups to deal with.
Challenging while not being very difficult as the 118 slope rating tells you. Carts were gas powered but didn't overwhelm you with fumes like they do at other courses.
Hidden Gem
This course was way better than I was expecting it to be....As a matter of fact it was a true pleasure to play and a really nice staff and atmosphere!

The course is beautiful and very well maintained! TJ and staff are VERY friendly & professional.
