Nice course and staff but other players make for miserable golf experience
The course itself is quite nice... Interesting holes and the fairways and greens were in very nice shape. The prices for food and drink were very fair and the people working in the clubhouse were incredibly nice and efficient.
So why only two stars? The pace of play and the general lack of golf-manners by the other people playing. I'm not a fanatic about pace of play and I have no problem whatsoever sitting in my cart with my partner, sipping a beverage and waiting a reasonable amount of time to tee off on a hole. But when it comes to the players, the course is completely unmanaged. The day we played they allowed one sixsome and two fivesomes out at once. And they were all incredibly slow players, spraying balls all over the course, hitting multiple balls and displaying no courtesy at all for people behind them.
The threesomes and foursomes were largely the same: Dog-slow, taking forever on the greens (with people clearly on the fairway behind waiting for them) and never offering a play-through -- which wouldn't have helped anyway because then you would just be stuck behind another group of slow, inconsiderate golfers.
It's a shame because the course is nice and the people working the clubhouse are wonderful. But actually playing the course was so miserable we can't see ourselves ever coming back.
Very basic
Nice little course. Pretty straight forward. Pretty short. Great for beginners
