The course manager didn't have confirmation of my online payment, and charged me again, how do I get a refund?
For the price, it is well worth the trip. The course is usually in great shape and the staff is incredibly friendly. The layout is somewhat simple with challenges.
What a surprise
Driving in from Cypress, Texas and going down these small county roads, I thought I was going to be disappointed in a cow pasture like 9 hole course: Well I will certainly wrong and surprised : This course is very well maintained. Fairways or nice 1st cut around the green and 2nd cut around the greens for chipping/pitching and are excellent,. The greens are running very good not quite true but are still fast with some slope coming into consideration on a few very well manicured and maintained consistent grains. Very polite and friendly professionalism in the staff that I encountered. It was worth the one hour and 15 minute drive 1 way, for such an experience, Thank you For an enjoyable round of golf on your well maintained golf course I highly recommend if you are around the area please stop by and surprisingly enjoy your outing.
A course for each type of horse
Austin Bayou Golf Course was built to attract the RV crowd. The owners design the course themselves. It started out with 4 holes. It has some nice challenging holes. The greens are rather small compared to other courses in the area. Nice course to walk. No marshals on the week days and on the weekends they are not all that helpful moving the weekend players around in a timely manner, especially in the summer months. It is a great course for both handicappers and beginners.
Not worth the weekend price
Paid too much for this 9 hole course. Course was in average condition. No process for starting the back half of round after the 1st nine.
A great experience, well worth it!
As a first timer, I was made to feel welcome by the friendliest staff that I have ever encountered. I would drive the 50 miles to play again at this well maintained course. Interesting dog legs. The value was just the icing on the cake. Check it out yourself!
