About
Originally opened in 1938 as a nine-hole course, Landa Park Golf Course has since expanded by 52 acres in 1969 to make it an 18-hole course. Although it is on the shorter side, the golf course is still entertaining for golfers of all skill levels. Bordering the Comal River, there are some water hazards coming into play on the course. The fairways are wide and there are not many difficult approach shots, making it a more player-friendly golf course. Landa Park Golf Course features small, undulating greens and there are mature trees lining the fairways. Although it is fairly forgiving, Landa Park does have some challenges, including the lengthy par-5 fourth hole that stretches over 550 yards.

For the conditions of this course, their green fees are very modest. Very fun course with challenging, yet easy to navigate holes.

Nice Municipal Golf Course
The course was in relatively good shape considering the hot and dry weather that the area has had over the last 4 months. This is a nice challenging course worth playing again and the price cannot be beat.

Cart path only
The course is in decent shape considering drought, but because of that it is now cart path only. Greens were good as well as center of fairways everything else was little or no grass.

Love this course
Play back and forth over and along the Comal River. Deer and geese everywhere. Satellite gps in the carts. Greens were in great shape. Overall conditions were good given the drought. Lots of challenging conditions. Take plenty of balls, LOL. Only downside this time was cart path only due to drought. Trying to preserve the fairways which is understandable. Just hit your ball close to the cart path, LOL.

4 and a 1/2 hours to play 11 holes not fun. Temperature 105...

Management SUCKS
You have to know somebody or be a single to get a tee time before noon on the weekends and you have to get lucky during the week. Management books times for their regulars and claim "they got on at midnight 2 weeks before". If you are looking to play here, just know it will be PM and it will be slower play because of everyone else having to do the same
