Hard Times
I have played this course several times in the past. I had high expectations but was let down to find the course lacking in many ways. many of the fairways were drenched however the weather had been perfect for a week. Greens had several bare spots in them as well. Tee boxes were good as usual and the staff as well as the restaurant did not disappoint.
It’s been better maybe it just wasn’t their day.
First hole was closed. Greens need work. At the turn tried to buy beer and food but no one came when rang the bell 3 times by me and another customer. Water coolers on course were empty and the ones that did have water had very little and it was not cold.

Terrible Golf Course
Use Golf Now all the time, this golf course is terrible. WORST in Eastern Kentucky and there are a lot of not great courses in E.Ky. Stay away, lots of better places.
Listen, the course was in terrible shape and not only the course but the staff was incredibly rude! They treated us as if we were teenager out partying. Not the case. And, maybe if the staff would work on the course with their time instead of harassing the paid golfers. Never recommend or well visit it again. Please remember this is located in prestonburg Ky!

Great Course/ But they cancelled our tee time really late and with no notice
This was a very fun golf course. The layout is one of the coolest and most fun I’ve seen. But three friends and I had a tee time through Golf Now booked days in advance for Saturday morning, and they just randomly cancelled it on Friday night, so it’s like why do you even book tee times through here if they can just cancel it whenever they want to. It was very frustrating. I do want to come back here though because when I played it, it was a super fun and challenging course
This course has the Wow Factor
Course is on a reclaimed strip mine. Course has large elevation changes and terrific views from the higher points. The conditioning is superb. This course is a must play and worth the effort to get here.
Challenging course but in rough shape.
The course is a nice layout but it’s in pretty rough shape right now. None of the bunkers are playable and there are spots in the fairway that are bare and play like hard pan. I was disappointed but got a “hot deal” so it wasn’t as bad.

Nice course. Good for all levels of players. Bunkers should just be grass bunkers. They were full of weeds and sandy mud . Staff was friendly. Views were beautiful.. Greens rolled true.

Great value
This course has some of the best greens in the area! It also looks like they are starting to work on their bunkers. They had let them go over the last year or so but I saw some improvements. Hopefully they are going to bring in some fresh sand and get them playable again. Once they fix those this place will be perfect.
A new BBQ restaurant has taken over the F&B in the Clubhouse. Tried a couple options and they were great.

Great Track
This is a great track and a must play in you’re in the area. Very friendly staff, extremely helpful and if it wasn’t for the terrible bunkers I would have rated it a 5.
