Schaumburg Golf Club - Tournament/Players Course
About
Schaumburg Golf Club is a 27-hole layout that has hosted the U.S. Open Qualifying and Illinois Open Qualifying tournaments as well as numerous other events since it first opened in 1928. The course is divided into three nines: the Tournament, Players, and Baer. Each course has a different character but one characteristic they all have is the undulating terrain. All three golf courses also boast well manicured tees, greens, and fairways. The nines are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Tournament/Players course features the most water of the three combinations. The par-4 fifth hole on the Tournament nine has a particularly tricky forced carry over a large pond. In addition to the golf courses, Schaumburg has a practice facility that includes a driving range and two putting greens.

A very well maintained golf course
The grass is so well maintained.
I highly recommend this golf course.
AWESOME!
Incredible course conditions for beginning of the season. Schaumburg GC never disappoints! Facilities are amazing, great value.
Course is well managed and walkable
I loved the challenge of the Players 9 and the Bauer 9 was a refresher from HS Golf. Course is very easy to walk and has well placed hazards to make you think about club selection. Shot a 77 on the first 18 of the year
Staff does great to keep this a premier course in Schaumburg
fall golf
Have played here many times. Course was in good shape - leaves and ball marks on greens were a little bit of a problem. Having said that, pretty good conditions given it was mid-November!
Great course, annoying carts
Really enjoyed our round this weekend and was impressed how there was no signs of aeration and overall course conditions in November. The restricted zone locking the cart while on the cart part near each teebox and even the practice green was obnoxious. We could hear other carts on neighboring holes dealing with the same thing, but it seemed like the staff disabled it by the back 9 as it stopped happening. Otherwise the course was great
Hidden gem
This is one of the best facilities in NW suburbs. It gets no publicity but conditions are like a private country club a must play in the srea
