Wilderness Ridge Golf Club - Championship Course

This up to today is one of my favorite courses in this area. We usually will make a trip a couple times a year from Omaha to golf at Wilderness Ridge. Course was in excellent shape. Fairways were well maintained and the greens were consistent and rolled true. The pace of play today will be the main reason I will probably not make the trip back to Wilderness Ridge. Any 5+ hour of round of golf on a weekday morning will definitely scare me away! Weather was perfect, course was great but it is hard to enjoy a round watching the three groups ahead of us average over 15 strokes per person to finish a hole especially when ready golf is not followed.

Absolutely terrible condition. By far the most over-rated course I've ever played. The greens were littered with pitch marks and full divots, the tees were essentially one giant divot, and the fairways had more trash than the side of an interstate. I could see the potential beauty in the course if it had been well maintained, but it's worth maybe half the rate they charge. I would not recommend to anyone. Pathetic staff experience as well.

Love the water on several holes even though they don't come into play too often. Beautiful course.

This was a good course for the money. Staff was nice. Nobody was rushing us , of course that may be due to the extremely hot temperature.

The weather was really hot, but it was still a great day to play golf.
There was a lot of long second shots and I'm not used to that at other courses I play but still enjoyed my day.
The fairways were easy to hit off the tees, so really enjoyed that.
Will probably go back on a cooler day.

Course was in excellent condition. Has some very nice aesthetic features. Greens were firm and smooth. It's a shame that too many golfers don't repair ball marks.

Great course greens where perfect a little trick with the undulations and the speed. I would play it again tomorrow

Overall the course was in great shape. Fairways were in good condition and the greens were fast and challenging. The thick rough made it very hard to find your ball if you happened to slice/hook your drive. Excellent water features, and toughly placed bunkers. The pace of play was very slow. My group was a three-some and somehow a 5-some was playing ahead of us. I don't believe a 5-some should ever be allowed to play together, let alone on a championship course. Not once did they offer to let us play through. This was the worst complaint about the course. If you can catch a hot deal - well worth the money. However, I don't think I would pay their regular rate of $70+.

Wilderness Ridge is very nice and everyone should go and play this course. the course the day i played, was good shape and no one hardly was there! never waited on any hole. the greens weren't mowed because of the chance of rain, it was a good fun course. lots of bunkers in the fairways, deep too.

By far my favorite course in Lincoln. Challenging, but not a killer for mid handicappers. Beautiful scenery and the staff is amazing.
