Reviews
Love this course.
This is the 2nd time I've played Longbow and it has fast become one of my favorites. The course itself is designed very well, bringing a small brook into play on a few holes. A few dog legs make you rethink grabbing the driver on the tee, but allows for some high risk high reward shots. My only complain from my most recent round was the group in front of us. It was a foursome who also had two non golfers with them. Our twosome waited on every hole until we passed them while they went inside on the turn. This was more an issue with the group being oblivious than anything the course did wrong.
Great course
Long Bow is a very well manicured golf course with an outstanding staff that helps you enjoy a round of golf in a beautiful natural setting. Course is designed to test your golf game without making it impossibly difficult. Varied holes keeps you immersed in your round. Greens are large & rolling & very well manicured & consistent. I plan on returning many times.
Excellent grounds and playability
The course was an excellent condition with generous fairways very fun with great value ! I will be back thanks golf now!
Target Practice...
Rewarded for hitting fairway with forward roll, rough is cut but thick - just the way it should be. Large greens, fantastic condition, literally can shoot dead at the pins - greens will accept - allows for lots of birdie opportunities. Got an absolute incredible deal on Golfnow.com, will return...definitely recommend. Enjoy a great day of golf at Longbow.
Busy, but good pace.
Nice course, have played here many times. Many unique holes, absolutely love #2 & #8.
Perfect Condition
Couldn't have asked for a course in better shape than this one was the day we played. Greens were fast and tricky, but just an amazing time on the course today!
First round this year
Our first round since the snow went out. Never played here before but favorably impressed. Course very dry right now but we are in a VERY dry condition right now. They had the irrigation running so I expect it will green up quickly. The greens looked like they weathered the winter very well. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will certainly go back and would recommend to others. The only reason not a 5 rating was due to early spring and dry conditions. Expect a 5 next time.
scenic and challenging
The course was in good shape, but the first cut of rough needed trimming and was difficult to come out of. The varied nature of the holes was nice and the par 5's were challenging both because of length and the hazardous approaches to some of the greens. I liked the large greens which made approach shots easier to make even though the undulating terrain made for some difficult putts.
Longbow
Lack of water in the hazards is the only complaint about the course
very good time
Very much enjoyed playing this course. Look forward to playing there again
Excellent course
Excellent course and terrific greens. Forgiving fairways and challenging greens. I will definitely play again!
wonderful way to spend an afternoon
great course, great condition, very nice course to play
Excellent Shape!
Decided to play 18 holes and booked online. Got a great rate! Have played 6 different courses this summer and Longbow is by far in the best shape of any. Greens are tournament fast.
awesome course!!
Would recommend this course to any type of golfer. Very, very nice.
Straight forward course
Good variety of holes and not overly penal. I assumed the course would be tighter, but really enjoyed the fact that there is plenty of room off the fairways. Exceeded my expectations.
Good Time
The course was in great condition. The rough was very thick and hard to find your ball at times would be the only complaint I would have. Overall a great time!
A beautiful and challenging course, especially in the fall
I had heard that longbow was a great course and always wanted to play it. The greens were spacious and in great condition. The fairways were open enough for an eratic driver. The electric cart was clean and very responsive. I want to play it again!
the course is a chalenge
fairways are nice and wide, greens are mowed just wright, not shaggy like most greens where most courses don't want to cut them short so u get a true roll, when u get in the trees u can find your ball they spred out just enought.
Great course for the price
Tough greens, good layout, and quick pace of play.
