Mineral Mound Golf Course

Very nice course with Great Lake views, was in great shape for early season. If you haven’t played mineral mounds I would highly recommend .

One of the best KY State Park golf courses. Great layout, greens and course conditions.

All I can say is awesome I love this course, highly recommend golfing here. Course conditions would have had 5 star but there was a storm the day before.

Checked golf now tee times were available all afternoon so I decided to book at 1210. Got there hit a few putts and went to the first tee. Starter said there was a guy and his wife in front of me no problem. Played the first hole and the second, then the drama started at the third hole with a fivesome in front of us and two four domes in front of them. Anyway it took us almost 5 hours to complete the round. Oh I want to mention the cart had not been cleaned out I had cigarette butts in the driver cubby and beer cans in the back. I like to normally play this Couse guess I will be going elsewhere next time.

Greens and everything was great this time out, always are here.

Great course - well maintained and has a beautiful view of Lake Barkley. Lots of elevation changes and some tough holes. Excellent value. Highly recommend.

Whenever possible I do prefer to walk. However, don't walk this course... take the cart.

Conditions were "iffy." You can tell this course gets a lot of golf cart traffic, as the area by the cart path is beaten down. Also, several bunkers had black rocks in them, which I assume is part of an on-going course improvement project (?). Tees were a bit worn, but the greens were in good shape for early November.

The layout is amazing. The front 9 is one spectacular tee shot after another. Lots of fun! The back 9 is more straightforward, though hole #13 is a really tough par 5.

It was chalupas ever, it was in great shape in every facet.

I've played MM about a dozen times since it opened back in 2003. Playing conditions varied but the scenery and layout of this track is fun and as challenging as you want from the tips. If you get the chance, play this course now. The fairways are healthy and lush and the greens are very plush. The only knock would be the speed of the greens. They are running about a 7. With a fine cut and roll, a 5 star rating is within reach.
