Deteriorating course

I have been a member of this course since 2008 and have been residing in the village since 2016.. I have seen and enjoyed the course during its best and, sadly, have been witness to its slow and gradual deterioration which started five years ago. The current msnagement has cut the maintenace crew to almost half of what it was. This has caused carabao grass to take over a lot of areas in the fairways, some greens turning brown and some bunkers with very thin sand.

Stunning Robert Trent Jones Jr. Course

Ayala Greenfields is cut on the side of a mountain. Many holes have breathtaking views of Laguna and Cavite.

One of RTJ2s best courses in the Philippines. Interesting and challenging with lots of elevation changes. Greens are quick and true. Signature hole is I think 15, par three severely downhill over a pond.

Clubhouse amenities were very nice.

The only demerit is that it's quite far from Metro Manila. Maybe 1.5 hours away without traffic.

Its a beautiful course but playing experience is disappointing

I registered for a small tournament that was scheduled to play on this course. Unfortunately, that day was declared a holiday and the course did not want to move the tournament date. Since it was a holiday, there were a lot of member players that showed up and we are about 28 flights of non-member players in the tournament. There were not enough caddies in the club and this was the start of the mayhem. We are scheduled at 9AM to 1030AM tee-off, and I arrived at 8AM. No one was at the bag drop to assist me and assign a caddy, went to the starting tee and there was pandemonium. I waited for 4 hours to tee-off!!!!!! The management of this golf course did not even bother to put additional people, marshals and caddies!!!!! Member of course were given priority during tee-offs and that we understood, but we were not given the decency of being treated as a golfer.
