Overpriced
This course is trying so hard to be something it's not: an elite level golf course. The weekend greens fees are $266 USD but given what I experienced, it should be $100 at best.
Pros: It's a moderately challenging course with hazards on most holes. The greens are vast and in great condition.
Cons: The rental clubs provided were extremely outdated (R5 driver in 2023?!?!), few amenities (come on, with that cost I can't get free tees?!?!), and it literally doesn't even have a proshop (can't even buy a ball with a course logo on it?!?!).
Their customer service was great and the caddies did an excellent job. Unless you're willing to overpay for a fairly average golf course, stay away.
I played the previous course
I retired to the Philippines Nov. 10, 2013. I lived in Subic Bay FPZ. I played the previous course over a couple years and some of the other courses out of town. The new course looks fantastic but with one little hitch. You priced it out of the normal golfers price range. I guess I will never get to play your course and I only live about a mile away. I know you have to make your invested money back but you will lose a lot of weekly golfers because as a retiree, I can not afford your prices. Thank you, hope your course succeeds.
