First Time
Got a good deal on golf now and paid $20
The course has a very nice layout. It's challenging from the blues. The pace was heart as I teed if around 12:30 on a Friday and they're was no one in front of me, that is until the 8th hole. I ran into a 4some. I was a single and figured they would let me pass them at the turn like most courtesy golfers would do. Nope I had to wait to hit every shot on the back nine. There was no Marshall on the course at all. I had another single playing behind me because he wanted to play alone after I offered him to join me. I saw him playing multiple shots arrive the greens and bunker practice just to kill time while waiting. I just wish their will have been a Marshall on the course to hurt them along or let them allow me to play thru. Go play this course, you will enjoy it.
Pathetic Course Condition
I've played Ridgeview maybe 200 times. Course condition, particularly fairways, close to unplayable. The greenskeeper scalped what used to be native areas which are now bare dirt. I don't want to go on. Just makes me sad. The layout could be a top Texas course if it was in excellent shape. Is the course condition an indication the course is going to close soon?
DO NOT PAY $80 FOR THIS DOG TRACK
The fact that this joke of a course was $77 for 18 holes is beyond me. The only thing they have going for them are decent paced greens. There is football field sized dirt patches on almost every fairway. This is supposed to be prime golf conditions, but this place is horrendous. Never in a million years would I have paid almost $80 if I knew it would be such an absolute dog track. Never coming back, and that’s for sure. Highly DONT recommend this course!
Great North Dallas Course
The staff is a wonderful asset always willing to assist and make your experience very positive.
At the Pro Shop, restaurants, practice areas there is always a helpful staff member ready to assist.
Course is in tough shape
The bunkers were great. Friendly staff. But the rest of the course was in terrible shape. Starting with the driving range there was no grass to hit off and balls were filthy dirty. The practice green was okay (very crowded) but not representative of the actual greens. The fairways don't have much grass and you can hardly drive on the fairways with all the ruts . Greens were bumpy and limited grass. The cost was not a bargain, similar priced to other courses. No bathrooms on the course except a couple of out houses. Not planning to return anytime soon.
Decent Course
Some fun holes, layout was enjoyable. Decent shape for this early spring season. Rainy day so it may have played a little rougher conditions than normal. Overall good though. Thanks
Bad shape
The overall course is in need of major repair. Bare spots everywhere. I might need to to a doctor to fix my back because riding in a cart was so rough. The greens were in good to great shape.
Great Course…but needs a Marshall!
One of my favorites to play - but definitely needs a Marshall! The course was held up by (1) Foursome that (4) groups behind them backed up.
Other than that greens were in great shape.
Great venue in needs more Greens upkeep
This course is always a good option in the area. However, the greens in 4 holes need attention. Texas extreme weather can severely impact the greens and that seems to be the case in some of the holes.
Overall, Ridgeview is a good option for a fun round of golf in north Texas.
