The Club at Los Rios

It looks like this was the place to play back in the day, but definitely neglected today. Driving range if almost non-existent, mats aren’t even level amounts the weeds. Pretty holes and was fine for our quick round while in town, but I would not return. The gentleman in the clubhouse would barely speak to us and was less than accommodating. I would bet this course goes completely under soon.

It was the day after a huge downpour and the course was quite playable. For the price, it was a great deal. Grass was cut, but some weedkiller would go a long way to cleaning up the course.

Everything was great except the tee box was incredibly hard.

This course is good for beginners, prettt layout and scenery. The amount of water coolers they have is amazing!! Perfect for Texas heat. The course is a little hard grounder but that’s because the heat

around the greens could use a little mowing but overall great experience!

F&B has great drink prices and delicious food and they’re very friendly

The upkeep on this course and surroundings was the worst I’ve seen yet. I wish someone would give the place a facelift. It’s kind of like walking in a time warp. I read the bad reviews beforehand but wasn’t deterred because I just enjoy getting out on any course... but this one was a little hard to forgive. Yes, the ground is unbelievably hard. Had to use two hands on every tee. I hate to see it go down because we need courses. I wish an investor could come in and give this place life again.

The only place green was the putting surface. Sadly, a miracle of maintenance and water are needed to deem it enjoyable. Golf course and club house entirely in disrepair. No more than 7 groups on the entire course. The good news...pace of play!

Sorry. Have to give this a poor rating.
This course is in terrible shape. If you were lucky enough to keep your ball in the fairway you still have to hit your second shot off of hardpan. You have to actually use your club to pound a tee into the ground.
It seems that they have stopped watering the greens and fairways. Again, I hate to give this course such a Poor rating but it really deserves it.

The course is laid out well and is definitely worth the price! The course was a little dry at parts, but over-all we had a great time.

Well if you play this course you never know what your in for until you step on the tee box. I was actually shocked that it was finally mowed to resemble so sort of fair way. The Greens were the best I’ve seen them in years. Little high but way better than I’ve seen. Wouldn’t hurt to water a few fair ways to soften up and maybe bring the cart girl out a little while.

Los Rios is an awesome course for what you pay. I had never heard of the course but I picked up a last minute round on GolfNow and was pleasantly surprised to find the place was in great shape. Fairways were soft with a little bit of roll and the greens had some challenge to them. I will say the rough can be unforgiving on some holes. I have lost a few balls that I watched land for the sheer thickness of the grass. Overall this is an awesome course for the price and absolutely worth checking out!

The first time I drove up and played I told myself I wasn’t going back... I’m writing this after my 4th round of golf here. Nice layout, pace of play is fast, low price! Yeah, the course could use some work but whatever, I’m still walking off the course a couple beers deep and with out breaking the bank.

Staff was friendly, course was maintained, and pace of play was great! Not bad for $17!!

Not what I expected. My first time here - what s beautiful piece of land in East Plano. Many forced carries, deep ravines and rock walls. With some work this could be one of the best courses in the area.

The upkeep on this course is horrible. It is a great layout and could be a real draw with the correct ownership willing to spend money to make money.

I played here because the pace of play is great since there is no one there.

Parking lot, tennis courts and clubhouse are all like a slum area that was in a war zone. A disgrace.
