Bedale Golf Club

This was the first time playing the course,
Staff in the shop and the bar were very friendly.
We were told that we were out with another couple thanks to the silly Golf Now rule of booking you with total strangers even in Covid times.
The staff moved us to another time with no problem.
The course was in great condition and the greens were fast and true.

The staff in the clubhouse were very friendly and explained because there was only two of us we were with total strangers which is a downside to booking with Golfnow.
The staff found us a new slot.
The course is a countryside course and was very pretty. Some par 4 holes seemed to be quite short but were quite challenging. The greens were in good condition and ran true. The rate of play was quite quick and we never seemed to be stood around.
The clubhouse is fresh and clean and had a good atmosphere.

We drove 55 mins to play here and would come back again.

Superb course and great value for money. Some very picturesque and interesting holes. Tight tree lined fairways to good greens. Very enjoyable round and would definitely recommend

I've played here twice now, it's a lovely course with a nice variety of holes and is challenging which is nice. You can usually get ready good deals here which makes its worth while. The only downside is I was confronted by a very rude member of staff in the shop, when I explained I was running late due to traffic and was made to feel like an idiot. It ruined my opinion of the club as I've been to courses before where they are flexible and understanding if you are running 5 mins late. Would recommend the course but just be mindful of the staff member.

Friendly reception in pro shop, halfway house and bar. Course was well presented and the majestic trees made it feel like we had the course to ourselves.
Will definitely return

Course is well maintained, very good flow ,really nice greens ,not to open but enough not to be in the trees constantly. And bunkers are perfect I.e there is send in them not like the other courses I've played lately. And the air compressors are working so that's a bonus. Only thing that let it down was slow play and not letting people play threw I.e the members. Shame as its a perfect course

Excellent course only one downside the two/two balls of clowns in front hacking there way round looking for balls for ages causing a major hold up! A bit of golf etiquette would be nice! Not the clubs fault but very annoying, at one point we stood middle of a fairway as they looked for balls and we had a 2 ball and 4 ball on the tee waiting behind us

We are a “senior couple” who had booked through Golf Now and upon arrival found we had been 4 balled with 2 men. The nice gent in the pro shop rearranged things and got us out with another couple. The pace of play, because it was so very busy, was quite punishing and not entirely enjoyable for us, but for lots of others I am sure this is just what they are looking for! The greens and fairways were in good condition and compared well to other courses we’ve played recently. Recommended.

Great course. Played for the first time today and we were very impressed. Course was lovely and immaculate. Bit of a maze at times to find the next hole but it was in very good condition. Would highly recommend, especially for the price.

Fantastic course as always. Could do with more buggies to hire as I can’t get round too well after an injury so would of made it more enjoyable. Buggies all booked

Last minute booking , made welcome by all . a lovely old course .

A perfect day for golf, the course was in good condition and greens fast and challenging. We played off the completion tees and it is a challenge to shoot your handicap if you are constant on the wrong side of the greens. Excellent value and friendly staff.
