Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the course at the Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel. Opened in 1986, the 18-hole, public course is immaculately maintained and very demanding. The course not only offers a challenging game but also beautiful panoramic views of Denver and the Rockies. It offers 7,054 yards of golf from its championship tees, playing to a par of 72. The natural landscape of the golf course features lakes and a stream, which create water hazards that come into play on many holes. The course is also well-bunkered. One the Lone Tree Golf Club & Hotel premises there are excellent practice facilities and a well-stocked pro shop.

Awesome!
Great day made better by a hole in one on 10!
Need a ranger
Nice course and conditions were very good for this late in the year. The practice green was closed and the short game area was dug up, so pre-round practice was limited.
Two many twosomes stuck between very slow foursomes. There was nobody on the course trying to manage pace if play.
Great if you're getting a discount!
Great place to play with a deal, but wouldn't pay their normal full price for the course. Would rather play a course like Murphy Creek or Riverdale Dunes - both tougher courses that are less expensive.
Pace of play was really bad - packed course with people trying to squeeze as much golf as possible with the warm fall.
Course was in great shape, greens were fast and had a lot of bumps which made them hard to read made up for how easy the course is otherwise.
Interesting course
Probably a very good course when in good shape The greens had just been aerated, this should have been disclosed as they were in rough shape. Practice green was closed You would expect a discounted rate when the greens are so poor.
Too Proud For What You Get
As one that plays several times a week, this course is what I call "A good old boys club". They're way too proud of a so-so course. The back 9 is much better but by then, you're just ready for it to be over already. It's worth $50/round, cart included but definately not $80+. The patio is nice, food is decent and food pricing is better than reasonable. They have a great practice facility and would recommend to anyone wanting to just drop by to work on your short game. The staff is very nice and well trained. South Suburban GC should train their staff there first.
Fabulous course
Just a really beautiful day of golf. The course was in stellar condition and had spectacular views.
Great Course
Everything about this course was excellent.
Great Track
This is a great course. The pace can get a little slow on the weekends, but otherwise this is a top-notch track!
Value Golf
Good Value an awesome setting
Wet but fast
Check in was fast and easy. And the starter got us out a little early.
Even though the practice green had some conditioning issues, the on course fairways and greens were excellent!
Thanks to a light rain, we finished our round in about three and a half hours. Well worth putting on the rain gear!
Super value with a golf now deal!
Highly recommended!
Lone Tree
Very interesting course layout. Greens were about 11 with many slopes. Fun to play. Normal green fees for non-residents are quite high.
Course in nice condition
The course was nice but no special holes. Just a nice place to play.
1st timer
Nice course. Challenging greens. Some tricky layouts. Pace of play not good. Friendly staff. Booked on Golf Now inexpensive so that was good. Would play again. Just a little far from home.
9.5 handicap, weekly player, depending on how it's booked for price I would recommend this course.
Great Day on the course!
I've played Lone Tree many times and usually have a good time. Today, the pace of play was spectacular. We finished 18 holes in less than 4 hours. Minus a small overcharging issue, I was charged for 48 range buckets instead of 1, the day was great and the course is in great condition!!
Lineman
Staff made up for the rainy morning, course was great drained well from the moisture very few sponges near existing water
Over priced for average course
average course with very slow pace of play and no ranger. over priced for comparable courses
Lone Tree Round
Good course, fair to better players tougher on beginners or below average golfers due to he heavy rough which is tough to get out of. Tough greens as well. Great surface to putt on but many tiers and downhill putts are extremely quick. Don't over read the break as they tend to not break as much as it looks.
Memorable holes
Bring your A putting game, fast and undulating greens. Best to practice your putting and chipping before playing. Memorable holes with beautiful scenery and homes to look at. I will be back.
Solid Golf Course
This is a golf course I can play again and again, always in good condition and a great layout. Pace of play can be a bit slow and most of the guys working the pro shop are A holes but great track overall.
Excellent Course, Extremely good greens!!
Great Course, especially for the value. The greens were spectacular and very fast (which is how we like them)
Will be going many more times
