decent course
Overall this is a good course to play. Greens were not as good as they have been in times past.
Great course
Really enjoy playing here. Greens had lots of sprigs yesterday that influenced the roll, but being in between seasons, that is understandable. SP is a great course with a great staff. Terrific value.
This is a fun course
Overall the course was in good condition. A few of the greens needed work. I recommend playing this course.
Greens
The greens are not in very good shape. They need a lot of work.
For Winter Weather, Not Too Bad
Some of the greens had weed patches that were a hindrance to making a good putt. Then, some of the green were fairly nice, but the mower left grooves that were another distraction. It's obvious that the drought conditions have left some of the fairways a bit bare, but the ball will roll a long ways on the hardpan. Probably won't play here again for a very long time.
Sherrill Park Course 2
This was a very enjoyable experience. The course was in good shape for this time of year. The facility had everything you needed---driving range, pitching green, putting green, etc. The staff was very friendly. I like to walk but I rode today because it was included. I was paired up with three other great guys. Although the course was crowded, we finished 4hrs 15 min. I will play here again and do recommend this course and facility.
The course was in good shape for this time of the year.

Great Course, Lousy Staff
This was the second time I have played at Sherill Park. I really like the course, but both times the staff have been incredibly rude and unfriendly. This time when we showed up, the guys at the desk told us that we would be paired with another pair of guys. Since I am atrocious at golf, we asked if there was any way that we could just play the two of us. Boy was that the wrong question! The guy at the desk said no and then went on a little rant about how people who use golf-now don't just get to make their own rules and if we wanted to wait 3 hours we could play by ourselves. He was a total jerk and super rude about the fact we paid $4 less to play on his pride and joy. Course is a great value, but I would have second thoughts about having to deal with the staff again.
Excellent greens
Greens and fairways better than some of the more expensive courses i play
Challenging
Good challenging course, great value for the beginner golfer such as myself. Well placed bunkers to help you work on your sand game. Got caught by the sprinklers on one hole but with 102 temp, didn't mind the break. Will play again.
Great public golf course. Challenging and fair!
36 hole option. Course 1 is a little longer but a little more forgiving. Course 2 is a position course. Need to think about where you hit the ball. You can get around with 250 yard or less tee shots. Dog legs, traps and water. Very good condition.
Waited at the first tee for 45 min before finally teeing off. Others said it was the 3rd weekend in a row that they overbooked the same tee the start
Overbooked the same tee times. Who does that. Heard it was the third weekend in a row. We teed off 45 min after our schedule time. Very frustrating
Enjoyed the experience
Course was well maintained. Greens were a little long though. The marshall needs to do a better job of encouraging fasrter play
Excellent Condition
Course is in fantastic shape. Very Green and lush. Nice sand in bunkers. Greens ran pretty slow.
Great place to play.
Course is well maintained. Greens and fairways in great shape. Pace of play is good and great cart girl service. This is a great course for the value.
Nice course in good condition
I really like this course, it's in good condition and the greens are in good shape. Course number 2 is not as easy as you think. There are quite a few holes that can leave you frustrated. The only thing that seems really consistent is the pro shop staff, there are few guys that work there that I feel are not really friendly. When I go to play a course, I like the whole experience to be good. These guys seem like they are doing you a favor by letting you step out on the course. I wish the upper management would talk to them and tell them to ease up on the testosterone, and be a little more friendly when folks step into the pro shop.
nice layout
greens were above average for municipal courses
fairways very well maintanian even after days of rain
