Brandon Wood Golf Course

We had very pleasant round greens were holding, some greens a bit wooly but on whole very pleased.

First time we played this course. Very friendly staff and a really well looked after course. Was great to sit outside on the veranda which overlooked the 18th. Will be back many times.

ring club house before booking ! I did not and we found a par 5 and three par 4s had been altered to play as par 3s on to rubbish temp greens ! rest of course in poor condition not worth £10 to play Teeofftimes you need to warn people when booking this course

Beautiful course but due to the rainfall parts of the course have had to be closed
& some hole shortened with temporary greens
We will definitely play the course again possibly
once the drier weather comes

The course itself is really nice and picturesque but the greens were in a dreadful condition. I should have asked for my money back.

One of our favourite courses, with good variety of holes.....but the greens were cracking and crumbling in places and in need of water, have payed less here,when course in much better condition

This course is the worse condition I have ever seen it in. Use to play here a lot about 3 years ago and really wanted to go back and unfortunately it was a big mistake greens are in terrible condition. I would currently not recommend going there to any one they have really let the course go. It’s a shame because the layout of the course is fantastic and could be a very good course but looks more like lack of money and no effort put in at all such a shame

The only criticism is the greens could be better tended

Course in fair condition, boggy in some areas. Fairways need some attention but this was probably due to the wet weather experienced over the last month or so, Overall a good round of golf.

Myself and my son played 18 holes. We started as a 2 ball but by the third hole we joined up with Aaron who was playing on his own. Because we were following 3 or 4 fourballs it was a slower round than normal and took around 4 1/2 hours but it was in fine conditions except for the odd bit of rain which didnt spoil our enjoyment. Thoroughly enjoyed playing.

I have to say this was most enjoyable course to play, great condition, very well thought out and scenic. Staff extremely helpful & polite. Great round would highly recommend.

We played 18 holes very quickly. Weather not very good. Some holes were closed so we did 2 x 9. The first 3 holes were different to the original course then we played 13 - 18 which were in surprisingly good condition given the weather. Extremely easy to book in the staff were very friendly. Really looking forward to playing the full 18 holes in the summer.

played on the shortened 9 hole circuit with 2 temporary greens. did 18 holes in less than 3 hours. the course held up really well considering the amount of rain we have had recently. very happy.

It was excellent round the golf other than strong winds.

Having played Brandon wood on several occasions this visit was pretty poor. The booking team accepted our booking at 10.56 with no hesitation but when we turned up we discovered that there was a Seniors match in progress (6 sets of four balls) and that we likely to have a slight delay. This was an understatement! At each tee we waited around 10 minutes and all the way around we were delayed! the upshot was that it took 2.5 hours to do 9 holes!! After 12 holes we decided enough was enough and managed to hop across to the 18th hole and finish the game. Shan't be back in a hurry!!

The course was in very good condition for time of the year and considering the amount of rain we had. The bunkers were very wet, the greens were in excellent condition, would definitely consider playing here again during the winter because course was in such good condition.
