Will play again for sure
Really Nice course, nice greens, exciting holes. If I wasn't already a member at another course I would join
enjoyable challenge
A good course with long holes and some challenging par 3's
Overall OK course for a change
Definitely you would need a buggy in this course, bit of hilly and long. Greens are ok but some bunkers are in poor state, sign posting are quite poor, but good value for money on a week day. Make sure you tee shot on the 3rd aim at well left as the map does not show correct picture.
Rob
Visited many times over the years and always made welcome. Speed of play has been improved by removing a few trees and some undergrowth but still a bit of a challenge in places. Most accommodating although changing facilities somewhat limited.
worth every penny.
Go and play this course, there's only one hole you may not like .
Worth £15'
Went off about 3pm, hardly anyone on course so flew round as a 2 ball. Some nice holes, bunkers in poor state, greens pretty slow, needs a bit of smarting up around whole course, but saying that well worth £15.
Magnificent
The course is very nice, greens were fast and fairways were nicely cut.
The one thing I did not like is the tee number on the board was far too small so you had to get up close to make sure you was on the right one.
Charming course
Plenty of variety , gentle start then the course becomes a good challenge pars at 9& 10 takes some doing.
Great golfing venue!
Having played at Bushey Hall GC a few years ago we were very pleased as to how the course looked now and was very well looked after except for a few bunkers. Would recommend this course especially on a Tuesday or Thursday as it is great value for money.
Nice course in good condition
play here quite often, as it offers a fair challenge and is reasonable costwise. Conditions very dry, as expected, but greens in excellent condition, maybe a little on the slow side. Not heavily used either. We had totally unimpeded round.
Bushey Hall
Very good course and have played many times before.
good course
great value for money. Greens could do with more water
Excellent
Course was in good condition throughout
Will return
Good golfing challenge
Not the longest of courses but needs careful thought and a level of accuracy. A bit wet this time but that's better than frozen and it is January and still no temporary greens. Well worth a try.
The course is pleasantly challenging
The course is a good test and has some challenging holes especially the 4th, 14th and the 15th. The 18th also has a tricky bunker to navigate plumb in front of the green.
The greens were beginning to show wear in the winter especially due to pitch marks not being repaired.
The members in the clubhouse are generally quite friendly.
So Easy and Cheap
This was so easy and the green fee was so reasonable.I will definitely use them again.
Lovely pay-and-play course
First time around Bshey Hall on a freezing Sunday, course though keeping quite true with exception of few ice patches in shady areas (5th green notably rock hard).
Nice layout with some challenging Par 3, only let down by electic cables over 2 holes that are somehow distracting.
Not as easy as it appears
On arrival we were surprised that the problem shop would not allow us to use our electric trollies as they did not have winter wheels on them. The course was not sodden, it was the first time we had encountered this. As for the course it was very enjoyable and we'll laid out with a couple of holes which made you think. Would definitely go again.
