Holiday golf

Great scenic course for a game of golf on your holidays. However check the weather, because the fog can make it a little tricky.

Stunning day

Always a pleasure playing this gem on the Cornish coast. The course was completely empty, the fairways were immaculate and the greens were the best we’ve seen them here. The weather was absolutely gorgeous.
The day was slightly ruined by the very grumpy gent at reception. Not even a good morning on arrival. We said we had booked and paid online. He just said “yup”Couldn’t make us a coffee/maybe didn’t want to. No food available at 11 am when we finished. You wonder how they get through an interview sometimes.

Terrible course with amazing views

When we booked to play this course we were so excited given the views and with the rating on golf now we were sure it was worth the money, it wasn’t.
Don’t get me wrong the views are amazing, but I don’t think they have anyone looking after the course. Tee boxes were probably the worst I’ve seen, thankfully we were playing off of the whites where they obviously don’t get used often but uncut, ball above/below your feet. It’s like playing in a farmers field, other than the views nothing really exciting. Overgrown bunkers, just mud not even sand. Don’t even get me started on the greens, I understand it’s open to the elements up there but it’s like playing on a bobbly car park. Will definitely not be playing here again.

Stunning views and very different types of holes, which were enjoyable. The picture I’ve added is the view from the 15th green.

Cape Cornwall

Great course as always. Wonderful weather, idyllic setting, course in really good condition, pretty much had it to myself, got a credit via Golf Pass and staff (Keith) as friendly and welcoming as always.

A fantastic way to spend a Monday afternoon.

Cornwall

Played the course in brilliant sunshine, after having a lovely linch in the delightful club house, where staff were excellent and very friendly. Course has spectacular views and if not really to tough, some holes take a lot of thinking to play with positioning of the ball a priority. The course was very dried out and unfortunately the greens were not in great condition, but it didn't stop us having a great day and fun round.

A course to experience

The course was a little strange but the little map gets you over that. It is a real test of accurate ball striking. Not really a course for beginners. The only bad feature is the road down to the course. So narrow that cars cannot pass each other. The views are to die for.

Missed in the mist

Once again a breathtaking round on an exceptional course. Made so by starting in sunshine over looking the cliffs but ending with the sea mist rolling in as my drives headed off into the murk. I’m sure I saw the ghosts of past pirates in the sand at the 17th looking for lost pitches! Great fun - and great people.
