very good greens
carswell is a great course for all grade of golfers.the course is very well layed out it resembles a parkland style with bracken bushes and pine trees.The fairways and greens are well looked after and in good condition alll year round.take advantage of green fees mondays and thursdays just £12. well worth it.
Carswell
Lovely course of decent length , fairly flat so the walk is not too taxing. Greens had seen some work recently when we played but were still in good condition and played well. Good scoring is possible if you keep your ball in play off the tea. Clubhouse is very nice and staff always welcoming and friendly.
I would highly recommend this course.
Good fun
I would recommend the course to those looking for something not too challenging but who are looking for a course in good condition, that played well and to try and get some confidence. Good selection of par 3's and 5's, the greens played well and it was really enjoyable.
Nice challenging course
The course provides plenty of challenges to golfers of differing abilities. Will play there again soon
Tee off times set up
Great day and good value.However, when I arrived I was informed by the very friendly gent in the pro shop that Tee off times had paired my partner and myself with another couple. This I refused to do as I only wanted a two ball on the day, as had I wanted a four ball I would have set one up. I was not pre warned of this which I found very unprofessional on their behalf.
After speaking to other golfers, it appears this is not their first time this has happened,so sort it out T.O.T and stop trying to penny pinch.
