Value for money

Good course. A few blind holes and some of the rough could be shortened but overall good. The first 6 holes are hilly so charge your battery unless you like a physical challenge. Oh and watch them greens. They are superb and if you are putting for a birdie you could come away with a double bogey.

Don't be fooled by the first few holes

Although the course, including greens, was very wet and initial impressions on the first few holes was disappointing, the course suddenly blossomed into a very enjoyable game of golf. Interesting and challenging holes emerged and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Very warm welcome from the club pro before playing.

This course has developed dramatically from when I first played it in 1970 - then we had sheep grazing to keep the fairways down and the greens were difficult. But, I learned my skills here and eventuall got my handicap down from 16 to 6 in nine weeks.
