Course OK.....OK is probs not doing the course any favours or justice tbh...
Arrived to a boarded up building but once you tee off the course plays well, a good mix of long and short holes!
unplayable rough
if you do go off the fairway into the trees expect to lose your ball as the grass can be upto a metre high. The fairways also needed a cut.
Canny
It would be great if I could stay out of the trees. Hole numbers seem to have gone missing so could be confusing for new comers. Hole layout maps on the tee box would be nice to have. Bunkers could use some TLC.
1st time playing here
3 of us played here for 1st time today. The course was in really good condition considering all the rain we've had. Good lay out and nice greens and fairways. The big negative for the course was the non existent signage either on or guiding to holes, a simple thing which is easy rectified. We would come back again
Wallsend golf club
Good open fairways, with tree lines for the wayward player. Good greens with well positioned bunkers. With a little bit of development, which I believe is to be undertaken in the near future, this coarse could become a top playing coarse.
Morning round
Course has a nice layout and is in generally good condition. Bunkers could do with some attention.
Holes 6&7 are now closed as the course is being reduced in size to make way for a new driving range but no mention of this when booking.
Enjoyed the round, may return if the price is right
Holes
6th and 7th holes were off no mention of this when booking or on Facebook page
Golf at wallsend
Golf course in a much better condition than our golf.no complaints no bar due to covid.otherwise altogether a good day.
No signage
First review .
Found this course rather tatty!
No signs directing you to the next hole!
No hole numbers on flags or each hole.
A few dangerous bridges .
A positive is it’s nicely flat and easy to find your ball in the rough.
Worth a visit
Being early in the growing season I found the course okay, greens have been treated with bunkers still out of play. Plenty to challenge you with some fairly long holes. Worth a visit.
Wallsend golf club
Nice course layout but condition needs a little attention, bunkers need a clear out and sand renewed.
Enjoyable round of golf
