Thinking of membership..
After getting back into golf the last couple of years (8 year hiatus) I have been playing the local courses. Cleckheaton GC is really well kept and 2 mins from my house. Ended up playing with one of the members the last 5 holes as course was a little busy. He was a good advocate for the club and I’m seriously considering membership.
Great course.
Real challenge and a great course, especially at this time of year.
Highly recommend

Beautiful course spoiled by the weather
I need to play this course in nicer weather the layout is excellent and I really enjoyed playing it unfortunately it was playing temporary greens,tees and off mats plus 9 and 10 were closed, hopefully the weather will be better soon so I can look forward to playing here again.
Course closed on a sunny day
I have turned up on a sunny day to play golf on this course and the course was closed on a sunny day!
Wouldn’t recommend going there, I wasted my free time wanting to play golf and I have arrived to a course that was closed and nobody phoned me up to let me know, do not go there.
Course in excellent condition as always. Greens running true and bunkers with good amount of sand in particular
Good mix of holes.
Greens for this time of year were excellent. Perfect bunker sand, but balls shouldn't be able to roll out when they run in. Strong westerly wind makes it harder on the longer holes. A few blind shots. Would play again but imagine it will be harder in sumer time. I play off 10 stableford so happy to return 36 points.
Great condition for the time of year
1st time playing here, and the course was in fantastic condition for this time of year,no temporary greens either.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Members(?) Painstakingly slow again
Second time playing this course where I've been stuck behind a three ball who refused to let me play through on multiple occasions. At one point I was on the tee box while they were looking for their balls 80 yards away, then they took 5 minutes to give the group in front a club that they had left behind, still not inclined to let me through.
Course condition wasn't great but that was completely understandable with the weather we'd had. After 15 holes I'd had enough of waiting and went home, it's the first time I've never finished a round
