First Visit to Cleethorpes
The three of us enjoyed the round and would definitely play it again when we return.
Good course in excellent condition
Had it not been for very poor weather conditions this would have been a really enjoyable course to play. The fairways were lush. Greens well tended and the course layout suitably challenging. Unfortunately heavy rain and wind made for a tough day but we would definitely hope to return when the sun is shining! A lovely course at a very reasonable price.

A pleasant day at Cleethorpes Golf Club
Having checked out the course online we expected the wind to be an issue and the forecast rain also gave us a bit of a worry. However the wind was manageable and it didn't rain for very long. The course itself was not too daunting for our group who are all 20+ handicappers. An interesting layout although a couple of times we didn't know which way to go particularly on one dogleg left on the back nine. We couldn't see the green and there is nothing to indicate the layout of the hole. Once you know your way around that is not going to be an issue. We all enjoyed our round and would certainly visit again. The pro shop staff were very friendly and helpful and the course was extremely good value.
Great Course
Nice course really well maintained. Very friendly staff in the club shop. Only spoilt by the really slow play in front.
Friendly welcome
Wanted to take my wife somewhere who’s only started golf this year and this was ideal. A very female friendly course with plenty of separate tee boxes for ladies. Great course for higher handicap players with wide open holes but enough hazards to keep you thinking. Course in very good condition, a handful of fairways under repair going into winter and all greens were covered in treatment which we were told before the round. Other members would talk to us and we felt welcome.
Overall would recommend this for a nice afternoon of golf.

The price was very reasonable. The pictures on web site do not do justice to the actual course as was very nice to play with enough dog legs to challenge
An honest course and fair test of golf
Played the course on fine dry summer's day at height of holiday season. The course was in good condition and the staff and members I encountered were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. The holes were all clearly marked and the access for carts /trolleys very good. The information boards on each tee were also clear and displayed yardages and S I 's satisfactorally. I would have liked to see an llustration of each hole showing the layout and hazards from tee to green, especially as a first time player. Generally the variety of holes was good although I was slightly disappointed with holes 15-17 which were almost a carbon copy of each other. All in all the course provided plenty of interest and for mid- handicappers like me there are no gimmes available. I would certainly return and recommend to anyone who is looking for a challenging and distinctive golfing experience.

A very well maintained course, designed for big hitters. Tough on a windy day. Very pleasing to see the younger generation encouraged and playing the course.
Very good condition.
It was the first time playing this course and the condition to say we'd not been blessed with much rain over the last few months was very good.
There are five or 6 interesting holes but other than that the layout is very up and down.(alot of straight holes)
It was an overall good experience and I would recommend it for its condition.
Fabulous Seaside Course
I love playing this course, although you are only 1/4 of a mile from the sea it isn't a links course. It looks easy when you first stand on the tee but once started you need to be able to manage the weather conditions, the water hazards, and the lovely and mainly fast greens!
Once the round is finished there is a warm welcome to everyone in the clubhouse. the food is excellent and good value.
Everyone is really friendly, the professionals, the bar staff, the office staff and the members... well worth a visit.
