Beautiful Course
This is the most beautiful course I have played. Fantastic surroundings, friendly staff, well marked course, a true pleasure to play.
When we played there was quite a lot of drainage work being undertaken on the Foxes Run but is such a way that it didn't really affect play.
Will be returning again very soon.
Foxes and Badger,s 18
The Foxes 9 had been to dressed so greens were sandy and furry but played well, then the Badgers 9 well! Greens superb a lot quicker than the front 9 give it a few weeks and I'll go back.
Poor greens
Course is usually top notch but the state of the greens leaves a lot to be desired.
Uneven tees making driving a challenge
Lovely course
Perfect weather for an afternoon out on the golf course. Course in great condition
Excellent course.
This course has 27 holes spilt into 3x 9's, Foxes 9 is good for all. Badgers is a great little tester! Greens were excellent and rolling true. I would highly recommend this course.
improvements
First time players or not , marker post giving you a line on blinds holes are always helpful and can speed up play....
Cleobury Mortimer
There are three nine hole courses so any combination of two of them provides a great day's golf.
Perfect
That's good I'm thinking about signing a membership
great unusual choice of three loops of 9
Love this course although it is often overpriced, so I only play when there is plenty of deals on! Course is ace, three 9's are all good. THe only problem is the overtly posh people who play here thinking they are members of St.Andrews or something, apart from that brilliant.
Played here yesterday and the course was in excellent condition for this time of year. The fairways were firm and played well. The green were quick but soft so if you played a nice approach then the ball would hold up nicely. I would happily play here in the summer as it was overcast yesterday.
Accuracy required!
Played Badgers Set followed by Foxes and had a great day. Was cold and drizzly but still enjoyed the round. Quite a few blind tee shots so hard playing for the first time but well marked course and will certainly be back now I know the layout better. The second cut of rough is tough to play out of so finding the fairways is key to a good score.
Very picturesque
First time at this course and first impressions were that it was beautiful course with something for everyone.
Being a Tuesday tee off at 10.00 I wasn't expecting it to be so busy.
Pace of play, allowing for the fact I was playing solo, was somewhat slow due to the majority of other players being quite elderly gentlemen 4 ball groups who were also, understandably, getting a little frustrated at having to let faster players through. The result was a round of 3hr40 (solo) and only thanks to a clear back 9.
