Tight but brilliant
Absolutely brilliant golf course tight all round which makes for some fantastic golf, I will/do still use this course
The course is in great condition
The course and staff are great and polite, there are plenty of features to keep you on your guard aswell as lots of trees which make the course quite tight, you have to hit a straight ball.
No staff, no anything
Arrived ahead of tee time on a wet Sunday morning. Parking not signed and when realised where, it's a five minute walk back up the car park.
Absolutely no one around to ask anything, really had to make it up as we went along.
Winter tees, fair enough, but almost impossible to insert into the mat.
Course held up well, why no flag on the 5th?
We gave up after 9, our choice but given the above some form of refund or credit would be great.
Tough course for beginners
Enjoyed playing this course with an member but it's tough for beginners.
Fairways are very narrow so you need have your A Game with the Drivers/Woods otherwise you'll be on holes either side of your or losing balls in hazards.
Course was in fantastic condition and it's an great 9 hole course which id recommend to players with experience.
A delight of a course
This was our first time playing golf in a very long time, only hit the driving range a couple of times before hand. The course is tight, plenty to look out for (trees and the river), but made us play well and looking forward to next time. All members were very welcoming and it was a pleasure to play on this course.
Quick round pre sundown
For a city small 9 hole course this ticks all the boxes. a course where you can work on your game while playing.
Course
First impression was the place was a bit shabby, some members directed us to the 1st Tee and we were met by a very amiable gentleman who explained the course and directions where we may go wrong.
Once on the course the condition was very good and the Greens excellent. A very good experience on a well kept narrow course.
Will go again.
Great course
A great course tucked away, really makes you use the irons to keep straight with some challenges thrown in . Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the course. Well worth the money to play and will be back.
Impressive
Very well maintained 9 hole inner city golf course, challenging for even an experience player. The Green are some of the best I have played In and around Coventry.
Well worth a game.
Nice course super slow play
This is nice challenging course, tight truss lined fairways. In great condition for November.
I payed for 18 holes but walked of after 9 because the course is over booked and the old members are so slow that it makes it unenjoyable to play.
Little City gem.
Great 9 hole course well maintained, greens are excellent. Short course but still challenging.
Strange game of golf!
This was the first time I have played this course and probably the last. No clubhouse, just a locked up shed! When I asked the one and only green keeper where we report to he said there was no one around and that you should fill out a form, put your money in an envelope and simply post in into a box! I said I had booked via TeeoffTimes so he simply said carry on! The course is only 9 holes so for 18 you complete the 9 holes twice. The course is flat and fairly easy. There is a small river/stream crisscrossing the course and the greens were in superb condition and the bunkers full. You have to park at a car park by the rugby club and walk to the course from there. There are no on course facilities and no toilets! Also it is very hard to find, DO NOT rely on the sat nav post code given!! Its situated off Allard way but blink and you'll miss it. If you want a simple game of golf no to challenging this could be the course for you.
