Excellent value
The course is not the best kept around but, for a public course, is more than acceptable. The holes are challenging enough and better that I expect from a public course. Overall, it is excellent value for money and will definitely play again.
Excellent value
The course is not as well kept as most private golf clubs but, for the cost, it is excellent value for money. There are some challenging and interesting holes, especially the longer par 4's. I will definitely play again.
Nice course, not so nice players
The course itself was in good condition considering the amount of rain we've had. Unfortunately what happens quite often here, we were stuck behind a 4 ball who refused to let us play though (we were a 2 ball with a buggy) so it took almost 4 hours to get round.
It's a nice course with some nice holes, rough isn't too bad if you get in it. I'd play again, but maybe not an early tee time in case we get stuck again.
Value for money
The course was in really great condition. The only issue were most of the tee boxes were in a bad condition due to it not being allowed to dry out before people played of it
Beautiful course
Great well presented course, pace was slow and ques gathered at tees due to seniors play, pro shop is minimal but restaurant and patio is good
Good but not good
Would be a great course if only they would look after it.
Cracking layout, decent greens but tee boxes a disgrace, in some cases just a hole in the ground between the markers.
No real definition between fairway and semi rough.
Such a shame but would still return and recommend if you get a good price, I paid £25 which was slightly too much given the condition of the course. If they kept it nice I would gladly pay a fair bit more
Nice course
I play here when in town as there is a nice mix of playable holes and some challenging ones- course conditions are good and it is not too hilly so easy to walk. Always enjoy this course
Scenic course with some holes of character
Unusually it is best not to book online since it costs more than phoning up and booking in person - and the difference is not small. The course is a pleasant one with a rural feel and it was very quiet when we played so we were not help up or hassled. There are a couple of very long, straight holds and a couple of very tight holes requiring accuracy so it is nicely varied. The green fee is very reasonable for a course of this quality near London and we thoroughly enjoyed our round.
Shame about the Green keepers
Green keepers were very busy which is fine, but a little annoying when they didn’t move from the hole we were playing, and we had to wait.
Coulsdon court golf course
I used to play here alot, this was the first time for about three years and I have got to say I was very disappointed to say the least, the tee boxes were in bad condition, either no grass or grass that was too long, the fairways were more like rough and the greens were just awful, really patchy and covered in sand, this was sad to see because it used to be a really nice course and was definitely not worth the green fee I paid, there is alot of work ended to bring the course up to the standard it deserves
Needs a bit of TLC but recent rain hasn't helped
1st visit but wi return as difficult to judge after re ent winter. Greens played differently on each half.Sandy and wet 1st 9 and 2nd 9 no sand and relatively damp free! However most flat with not much going on. This is a typical hot course. Not too challenging with little rough and family wide fairways. Tees definitely need a bit of TLC. As I say, have to return later in Spring or Summer and see if I can work out where the fairway finished and rough starts 😅
C Manor
