Great course, will definitely play this again. Only loses a star as the signage to the holes could be a lot better.

Overall a very nice course, in good condition, however the greens had not been cut and were slow compared with practice green. . Very welcoming by staff.

Course outstanding condition the greens were firm and fast the members were also very acomadatin and friendly.Its a must play .

Lovely tree lined course. Fairways, tees and greens in excellent condition. Pro very pleasant and helpful. Lovely locker room and clubhouse.

Cracking course in fantastic condition. The rough is short enough to find your ball if you as bad as me . Fairways lovely and greens very smooth and fast . Pleasure to play hear I will be returning

Booked to play on a Sunday afternoon and course was overcrowded and long queues at the first tee didn't end up playing

What fantastic golf course! Amazing condition, lovely welcome from the pro shop, a course not just for the big hitters and greens that were rapid!!
Only slight downsides, 15th and 18th holes weren't very clearly marked and the bar was sadly shut when we finished at 8pm(shuts at 630pm on a Sunday we were told)
Those slight downers aside, I loved playing Davenport today and will defo come back again soon! (Also shot a new best score)

Not the first time I've been round Davenport golf course and i wont be the last ,although the weather was changeable ( polo shirt to start jacket and brolly to finish ) it was the course not the weather that was the challenge ,each hole has its own quirky feature whether its the undulating ball position or the blind shot , dog left or right this course has it all
would highly recommend it to all ,please though keep it at £20 , for those on a budget its a godsend to find a course affordable .

We have been playing several courses local to Stockport recently an Davenport is one of our favourites. Good layout, friendly staff, greens in very good condition. The bar is well situated and a lovely place to sit after 18 holes

Some really well designed holes that were an interesting g challenge but the course was in poor condition. It’s a shame they clearly needed to furlough staff and the course was not at its best. Shouldn’t be playing from Astro turf tees in April and the greens weren’t great Some strange walks from green to the next tee also.

The title suggests, it's a little tucked away and wouldn't suggest finding it without SatNav.

Once there what a gem, perfectly manicured fairways, well placed fairway bunkers and immaculate greens.

I've certainly played tougher courses but few that are as easy on the eye and enjoyable.
