Lovely Course

Really enjoyed playing here, whilst not particularly long it was quite tricky, a lovely course. The only downside on the day we played was that the 2nd hole was not in use, but nobody in the pro shop informed us of this and there was no on course information, but despite this I will be playing it again when I get the opportunity.

This once prestigious club seems to have lost its way. Clubhouse is now looking old and tired. Bar manager rude and smells of cannabis
Overall, a very unpleasant experience!

Terrific golf course

I love this course with proper golf facilities like shoes cleaning, driving range and putting green. Staffs and golfers are friendly. Layout is good with different challenging holes. Food is yummy! Worth to visit again.

Sunday Ruined

I’m sat here bemused at other people’s reviews! For £45 I think i’m within my rights to expect a very playable round. Greens should be respectable at the very minimum paying that price in October. I feel like they should have paid me to turn up. If you wan’t to warm up there is no practice net but there is a practice room. Please be advised to bring your own light bulb as the room is extremely dark. Before booking there was no mention of any winter greens. The first was a winter which was the size of a dinner plate. For the rest of the greens I had to check my surroundings to see if I was actually on the green. The worst I've played all year by some way. Tee boxes are pretty much non existent, you’d be better teeing off in the rough. The pace of play was painfully slow. We had an couple in their mid 50s infront, now I don’t mind golfers with low ability being on the course as long as they allow more capable golfers to play through as long as there is space. Unfortunately this two ball were having none of it. The man looked like he really didn’t want to be there whilst the lady had brought her mobility scooter out for the day. Most enjoyable part of the round was counting how many practise swings he would take before hitting it 5ft in the air or how many donuts the woman would make when driving her scooter. We will not be returning.

Rude members

Pace of play was painful due to a bug society. 6 winter greens. Members rude and interfering in our round.

Fantastic course

Played many times and will continue to play this fantastic course, considering all the rain we have had recently only two winter greens and the fairways where spot on , and only 15 pound on a Monday can’t be beaten for value and quality

A course only 15 minutes away , I never knew was there a really lovely park land course not too long very flat but some challenges on the holes. Some greens in need of work but overall I would give it a 8.5-9/10 lovely club house with great welcoming staff

Only let down by its customers

Pro was brilliant upon arrival, very friendly and accommodating. Course in great condition and east to follow without a map on the scorecard. Some greens not in amazing condition but on the whole very good all round.

Only downside was the pace of play and etiquette of the groups in front - pitch marks unrepaired etc, the usual.

Will definitely be back, a lovely course.
