Davyhulme Park Golf Club

Seems like a good course but lots of temporary greens currently. This I think should be made clear on golf now.
Some good par 5s and friendly atmosphere.

Hadn't played Davyhulme for a few years so thought we'd go for a post Christmas round on a day it wasn't raining!
Given the recent weather and rain of the last 2-3 weeks, it was in good condition - on full greens, which were running okay, and playing off most tees, albeit with the mat sunk into the ground. So that was a positive for 27th December.
The course layout is good and I like the mixture of holes that Davyhulme gives you. The pro was welcoming and helpful. although the clubhouse wasn't open for a drink afterwards which was a shame, but it was a bank holiday so maybe not a surprise.
Only downside was getting stuck behind a 4 ball from about the 6th hole who didn't seem to want to call us through, and a couple of loose shots from behind us that probably warranted a fore shout but no harm done.
Overall, a very enjoyable round (playing well helped!) and worth £20. Would certainly go back again when more in the golfing season.

Simply the best course in my area value for money course is always in mint condition and the pro and his staff are great from the minute you get there would highly recommend this course to all golfers

Really enjoyed this lovely course, only set back was the Manchester rain which had soaked the course overnight, greens hadn't drained enough which made wedge shots plugg. I will definitely return when conditions are better.

First time playing this course. Very nice and in good condition. Slightly complicated layout and quite a few dog legs. Booked for two but ended up with a four ball. Will definitely play this course again.

Great course. Greens were amazing. A few challenging holes. Important that you have a straight tee to stay away from the trees... was playing as a 1ball behind a really slow 4 ball ,and was just not being let through. Apart from that cracking day

My first visit to Davyhulme and I have to say I really do like the course, the only reason I haven't given everything 5 stars is that I didnt use the clubhouse facilities so I cant comment on them. The course seems to have had a change of layout as some of the marker posts on tees are different from the new ones, but its a great layout, not particularly long but well protected with strategically placed trees and the odd bit of water here and there, the greens are soft, a little too soft in some cases almost but they are in good condition and run very true. All in all a great coirse and super friendly staff too.

First time playing this course and was impressed. The young lad in the pro shop was very friendly and let us know everything that we needed to know. The course was short but made you think. Greens were true and in great condition. Well done to all the greens staff and thank you for an enjoyable day.

Lovely course, great for rookies like me who are still learning the game - I asked how many balls I would need and whether I would lose any! I was told just the one for the round... i lost 4!

Tight course with a lot of dog legs. Some interesting holes, 4/5 holes are almost identical

Perfect conditions. Tee time was 17:40 so we was the last on the course this time. Amazing course. Some beautiful holes. Perfect for all handicaps. Definitely going again

Greens are always in good condition year round. Some interesting holes as well as a few good Brodie chance holes. Fun course to play

Wasn’t expecting much from this course, last minute booking .... and loved the whole round.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, course was in great condition. Greens very good which all linked in with a very good and fair price.
Highly recommend anyone near or around this course!
