The Club at Sonterra - South Course
The Club at Sonterra is home to 36 holes of championship golf. The two courses at the club, the North Course and the South Course, sit on opposite sides of Loop 1604. There are very few trees on the South Course, unlike most of the other courses in the area. There may not be many trees, but the course still demands accuracy with the plentiful fairway and greenside bunkers. The North Course is the original course at the club, but the addition of South provided a different set of challenges. South Course is the more player-friendly of the two, but both provide a good game for all skill levels.
South Course is also known as Canyon Creek Course.

I just became a member out at sonterra a few days ago and this was my first time playing it. I really liked the course and was honestly surprised by how nice it is. The layout is unique for every hole on the North Course. There are elevated greens with a lot of slope and they run quick. The bunkers are definitely taken care of. If your looking a club in northern San Antonio definitely check sonterra out.
