Nice course
Not to challenging. Greens were very good for the time of year.
Will play again when back in the area.
Great afternoon
We had a wet start but the course dried out quickly very enjoyable
Good course
Good course in surprisingly good condition for the time of year and after a dry summer. 12th hole, arguably one of the best of the 18, closed for redesign purposes and already a few winter tees in use.
Standards slipping at Dinsdale?
We previously played the course back in June and it was easily 5 stars. However, our experience this time around wasn’t quite up to scratch. Several greens had old pock marks which made putting a bit of a lottery and some of the fairways were looking a bit rough and ready with the 11th completely out of use for remedial attention. However, the worst aspect of our round was slow play. We teed off exactly on time but it took us in excess of four and a half hours to complete the course – a couple of club members informed us that there are some notoriously slow groups that consistently back the course up and spoil play for others. Hopefully someone from Dinsdale GC reads this and can address the above-mentioned issues before matters get out of hand.
Lovely course
Lovely course and welcoming staff. Having a lovely day until 2 older members just tee’d off from the fairway whilst we where walking up the steps to the 8th tee without asking to play through.
And when we had to leave a little early we wanted to play the last 2 holes so we tee’d off on 17 when know one was there only for the same to members to confront us and swear at us whilst we walked down the fairway. The first time I played at dinsdale the members I met where very welcoming but these 2 made me not want to play here anymore.
But apart from that the course was immaculate, greens are incredible.
Fantastic
The changes that have been completed there are a example what's possible with the right resource and willing.
Tees, greens, walkways, bunkers, clubhouse, facilities - immaculate.
Only issue we had was a very very slow 4 ball in front, who either didn't want to, or didn't realise we were waiting for them on every hole.
Fantastic course love playing here think the 12 could be possibly a more of a par5 tho but other than that areally good challenge
Dinsdale
Unreal course but very challenging. Best I have played in Teesside and Darlington area, closely followed by Eaglescliffe then Middlesbrough Golf Club.
Must play
Great course with some tricky greens. We will be back
Much improved at Dinsdale
The course has recently been purchased by new owners who have committed significant investment into the course and facilities. Some work is still in progress but the general condition of the course and the associated facilities is very good and definitely the best that I have seen / played recently. When all the work is complete this golf course will probably knock some of the so-called "championship" courses in the area into a cocked hat. Club house and bar facilities are very good and the club has a proper sized car park and practice area. If the club keeps the green fees reasonable we will definitely be back!
Changed for the better
Played this course a number of years ago but there’s clearly expenditure taking place with a number of changes on the course having taken place and still taking place. Green’s were very smooth and ran true. Will be back. Didn’t use the new driving range but restaurant after was also good!
Steady Away
Friendly quiet well maintained. Nice little pro shop and decent amenities including bar and restaurant. Greens we’re on lovely condition for time of year and just about ready for a cut. Fairways were difficult las lots of mud following hollowing. Good thought from green keepers to protect fairways and cordon off areas. Overall nice but course gets very up md down bland and little variation in elevation.
