Disley golf course
The course offers something for all levels and certainly tests your bag completely. There are chances to score well on the shorter par fours, and throughout you get opportunities to open your shoulders. Great for those who love challenge their driving skills. The greens were in fabulous condition and played as well as I've ever seen them. In all a fantastic morning of golf.
First time back at this course for a long time and was pleasantly surprised, great condition, good test, some lovely holes and fantastic scenery. Got a 1:40 tee time “hot deal” for £15.99 which proved to be probably the best value round I’ve had in a long time. Great afternoon.
Amazing fairways
Played this for the first time and will be going back again this weekend.
Fairways were really nice , green have been having some work on them but was still ok just a bit bobbly.
For the price we paid you won’t find anywhere better , quite hilly but great views 😃🏌️♂️
Good challenge but more guidance needed
As expected from a course in the hills, there are a fair few blind tee shots. Unfortunately only 1 hole has a centre of fairway marker meaning as a first time player of the course there is an element of hit and hope as no hole maps on hole signs. Fairways in great condition. Greens having some maintenance on them when I came making it slightly irritating to putt but just unlucky timing of visit. All members I spoke to were lovely.
Lovely course
Lovely course to play great variation of holes
Excellent greens great views
Buggy recommended if difficulty walking
First time playing this course with a couple of friends and was very impressed.arrived a bit late but professional was very friendly and helpful. Course condition was very good with nice greens and fairways.layout was also good with a good variety of holes with a few uphill and downhill holes which made for some great views over the Cheshire countryside.had a bite to eat in the clubhouse afterwards which was very good and reasonably priced.a special mention to the staff and members who made us feel very welcome. Will definitely return and recommend even though it is quite a long way from where we live.
Budgie St Austell
Really enjoyed playing this coarse very good test can't wait to get another chance to play again if I could criticise anything it would the greens a little unpredictable
Disley
All in all a good day was had.
Course in good condition for this time of year like to play it in summer.
Highly recommend it to play.
Disley disappointment
We booked a round at Disley on Monday 17th April only to find when we arrived 4 holes were closed. We were given the option to play them after we had completed the other 14 holes however the pace of play behind some groups of senior golfers prevented that through time constraints. The staff however came to our rescue by issuing us a 50% off voucher on our next round ., which was very kind.
Course was not at its best however.
Great views, great course.
Always like playing Disley as it never seems to play the same twice. Fair to say it can get a bit windy and I don't think cutting a number of mature Oaks down has helped with that or been very eco-friendly. But that aside it's a great way to spend a few hours in the sun.
Disley GC
Played this course for a 2nd time. A ‘hidden’ gem on the edge of the Peak District.
Good Course For A Hot Deal
This is a good course to play on a hot deal. We paid £18 for a round which was fair. The tee boxes were not in good condition and the greens were very slow. There has been a lot of wet weather recently so I think some leeway should be given for this as I reckon in the summer this would be a better course to play. The views of the North West when you reach the higher points of the course are stunning. Overall a decent, challenging course that is good value if played under a hot deal.
Fantastic
No staff there when we arrived for 14:20 tee off time but members were friendly.
The course was immaculate and a very good test. Views around the course are stunning. We will definitely return.
Tricky
You must stay on the fairway to have any chance of scoring well.
