A great round
One of my favorite courses. Always in great condition, greens were in great nick.
A challenging course for the mid to high handicapper and I was happy with my gross 90 despite a couple of compulsory nightmare holes!
Some slow play by 4 members in front but we eventually played through at hole 11 (should have been 3 holes before really but there you go)which helped.
Couple of pints afterwards..nice bar and staff were lovely.
We don't like to pay more than £20 as a rule so this course is perfect as there are no compromises.
Go and play it!
Great value
Great value round. Course in very good condition. Not the longest of courses but some tight holes.
Great course,
Great course in superb condition ,always look forward to playing Disley. Friendly club, would recommend to anyone who wants to play a good course.
Temp greens
Temp greens there were about 5 but we never saw any work being done
Hollotining was the reason given
Some tees were very neglected
The weather was lovely thank goodness
Disley
Great course hard but fair great condition deffo play again nice staff and pro shop
Excellent course
Great course in excellent condition especially after all this dry weather
Greens immaculate
Staff and members very friendly
Only downside Thursday is ladies day and 2 comps running and we were in the middle of them,we were a 3 ball and one of the lads isn’t the quickest so we were constantly letting the ladies through, they were all 2 balls and decent players
Not sure t times should be offered on Thursday
That aside we had a good days golf on a very good, interesting course with some fantastic views
has potential
The members and staff were really friendly and helpful, the course is quite nice, greens very quick, fairways and tee boxes needed cutting though, more like light rough and some of the bunkers require sand, going on for mid June there's no excuse for there being non. Another slightly down point was how close behind the greens some of the tee boxes were, a slightly over hit shot could be dangerous. Finishing up though it was quite a challenging course and I play all over, I got rained off after 9 holes, but will be back soon, if they cut the tee boxes and fairways and fill the empty bunkers this will be a great little course with a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Views of Cheshire
Have played Disley before so know most of the do's and dont's and were not disappointed in either the course or Staff. Only complaint hired a buggy for the two of us and were charged £25 which I think is excessive, the average around Cheshire is probably more like £20 for visitors.
Some stunning views
Course will be awesome when dry.... Some very wet fairways. Pitty. Could have lived with that but to many greens still covered in sand. Like putting on Blackpool beach. Wish courses state before booking if they are doing work on greens. That will seriously affect your game. Pitty as this really could be a lovely course
Fantastic course
Disley has always been a varied and challenging course. It's rolling landscape giving amazing views over the Derbyshire hills, are the reason there is such a difference between each hole.
It's not overly hilly, yet the natural nature of the course, uses every rise to keep you thinking of the next shot. When you reach the 15th with your well deserved score, take a moment to turn round and look at the stunning countryside before you. All you have do then, is hit the golf ball up to the relatively short but tricky par three.
All round a fantastic course to get you thinking of how score well. And one to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Great Course
I played here in May this year after a week of dry weather and the greens were like lightening. This time it was after a week of rain, then an entire days rain on the Saturday. The course was wet, to be expected, BUT the greens, although soft, to be expected, were still fast. Miss the putt at your peril. You will watch your ball slowly trickle past and then just keep on rolling. Amazing!!!! Stunning views of the surrounding hills. Clubhouse has a nice balcony to sit out on with a beer after the days play. Lovely place to play golf. Watch out for the quarry hole !!!!
Disley golf club
Great course brilliant greens every hole is a different test.. bunkers poor no sand .. pro shop worth a look our group got a few bargain ..staff sxcellent ..a must this course
Fantastic Course!
Great course - hadn't played before so the layout was new to myself, however thoroughly enjoyed the course and layout. will play again soon.
Putting greens fantastic condition.
Hidden Gem
I've played this course half a dozen times now & it never disappoints, only the weather did for half the round!
The greens are the fastest and truest I've played all year, better than some that are 4 times the green fee! The course has some quirky holes, blind tee shots, doglegs and straight forward long par 5's. It's more s summmer course but even after some heavy rain the previous few days the course was in great condiotion & as already mentioned lightening fast greens.
Highly recommended.

Disley golf course
The course offers something for all levels and certainly tests your bag completely. There are chances to score well on the shorter par fours, and throughout you get opportunities to open your shoulders. Great for those who love challenge their driving skills. The greens were in fabulous condition and played as well as I've ever seen them. In all a fantastic morning of golf.

Course really well set out and varied. Very wet underfoot but greens were very good and fast.
recommend course to all competent golfers.
Great track.
Always a pleasure to play. The greens are a credit to the staff. Was first on the course at 8 and finished my round at 1030. Good mix of holes. Excellent value for money.
