I played this with high hopes reading the reviews but was disappointed. The pace of play was so slow that it was painful at times. We had 3 groups queuing for one hole at one point. I can only think that the tee times are far too close together as a reason for this? Badly organised.
The course itself was okay, the greens could be better. But a lovely location with some nice views.
Greens a bit rutted
Hot deal at 1.45 pm when it gets dark at 4.40 left very little time for our threesome. Fortunately we were able to start early. Course and views great as usual but greens poor today. Rutted and unreliable
Cross winds play havoc
Another visit to this fantastic course. It’s up high and near the sea so winds are to be expected. Unfortunately that brings out the worst in me! But the course is in fantastic shape. Greens true but slick. Rough a tad punishing. But overall a delight as usual.
Beautiful, hard but fair
Fantastic views, well kept course with many challenging holes. Deep rough swallows balls but not too abundant
Course on a Sunday afternoon was busy, but we did not have to wait on any holes. 3 players finished in just over three and a half hours. Greens fast and true, fairways running fast and tee boxes excellent. Great course to play on a sunny day.
Nice round was had by all. Some challenging holes.
Defiantly be going back soon.
We were originally booked as a Three ball, me and two mates, and Teeofftimes added another fella to our game, Now a Four ball I tell we were pushed and rushed, letting people through everybody was so inpatient , spoilt our day
A course I always fancy playing
The course was in very good condition for the time of year and the greens very true.will play again
A great venue for the wet season, the course has good drainage qualities.
No complaints other than to mention the airline for cleaning trolleys and shoes is poor with a low pressure
A fantastic course
Course in great nick. Views are really special. Rough is tough - bring plenty of balls!
Great little course
Good reception in pro shop on arrival. Weather was beautiful, views on course were spectacular. It was the club championship day so course was tip top. Pleasant course to play.Would be very testing in adverse weather as extremely exposed. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to others. I am12 handicap.
lovely friendly golf course booked cheeky day off work so headed up on the Friday from London arrived early as traffic was kind so decided to check in and relaxe friendly shop staff and enjoyed our free coffee that comes with the green fee so took the views in from the terrece play of 28 but had a good round some very challenging holes and fairways can be difficult but course lay out was very good
Great course for a trip to the South coast.
A great day out at. Very friendly staff from the Pro shop to the bar and restaurant. The full breakfast was really good and good value for money. Course was in good condition, greens recovering from recent hollow tinning but will improve over the coming weeks. Great views over Brighton and Hove and across the South Downes. Its definitely worth a visit.
Great value !
A Spring game on this challenging course with spectacular views for less tha £20 per player. What could be better?
