Elsham Golf Club

A fair challenge if you're hitting it straight. Appropriately punishing if you're off line but take your medicine. Unforgiving if you try and play a miracle shot every time you're in trouble.
Not everyone will enjoy their playing partners duff several chips but we had a great laugh about it in the well stocked bar after the round.

The course is lovely, nicely laid out, challenging but can allow you score points if you are accurate into the greens. We played it in March just before the trees regained their leaves and i reckon this course might be more challenging when they are back as they will narrow the course a bit more. A great experience and we will certainly play it again. The full English breakfast and bacon sandwiches were THE BEST we have ever had and believe me that is high praise as we play over 50 courses a year. Stunning food and great staff serving it. Thank you everyone !

Great challenging golf course in immaculate condition

Played 02/11/20 The course was in excellent condition , greens superb a real credit to the green keepers especially for this time of year. All greens were in play and a joy to putt on.
The day only spoilt by the very slow play and not being allowed to play through .
This was due partly to a senior's competition but a group of 3 in front of the group immediately in front of us fell way behind by 2 holes and caused lengthy waiting times before we could tee off and should have allowed the group through. Ignorance of golf etiquette I feel was to blame and really took a lot of enjoyment away from the round. !!
Overall a superbly maintained golf course with a good level of challenge. Highly recommend.

Despite some heavy rain we had a good game. The course was in good condition with the greens running at a good pace and true ball run The layout is easy to follow through a pleasant parkland environment.
The staff in the bar afterwards were helpful and friendly and tables and seating were organised to meet the current restrictions.
Would recommend the course for a good day out.

One of the best courses i have played. Greens, fairways and tees all immaculate considering the amount of rain we'd been having. Looking forward to playing this course again this spring/summer.

In very good condition considering the time of year and the amount of recent rainfall. Very friendly staff, clean and tidy clubhouse.

Great course with some challenging dog legs. Was slow at times due to 4 balls ahead. Definitely worth a bash.

Great friendly staff. The course was outstanding.
A few mats on tees but the course was playing full length.
The greens were outstanding.

considering the time of year the course was in very good condition greens were reasonably quick and true, would expect this to improve in the height of summer very good fair test for any level golfer. Staff very helpful and friendly facilities were excellent although due to kitchen being closed food was limited. Excellent course, good value would certainly recommend to a friend.

Travelled from doncaster to play and I loved it ,greens were terrific for this time of year and after all the rain we have had the course in great condition I will love to play again.

Course in great condition for time of the year .greens fabulous best I've seen for weeks .Tee box's not the best but not temps .
