Great

I played this course with my mate on Sunday and we had a great time .Firstly we were late for our tee time but the lovely lady at the reception still lets us play which was very kind of her. The course is great but hilly which makes it more challenging, the fair way are well maintained and it drains well for this time of the season. The only downside was some of the greens needs some work on them .Very affordable price and will definately recommend.👍🏾

Interesting course

This was the first time I’ve played this course.
I usually don’t really like 9 hole courses but this is definitely an exception .
Great course
Quite long , lots of dog legs which make it interesting.
No bar, clubhouse or shop although there are snacks at the hut. Grab something to eat on your way there and put it in your bag for your way round.

Tough and challenging course

A good 9 hole with varying tees that change the second nine considerably. Only critisicm is the Indexes for the holes are confusing as a single figure golfer seems to be unable to score on the most difficult holes and would suggest a review of the difficulty of the course . That said a good challenge of golf and the course stands up to mist weathers

Good challenge of golf

Some may find the indexes difficult to understand as I believe these holes need to be reviewed as some of the more difficult holes are not correct in their difficulty.
The course is difficult and would not be easy for high
Handiscos.. my colleagues have been in dispute with the club due to a complaint where the course was not closed due to snow frost and ice on the greens, we snorted our game and requested a credit to play again which was refused by the owners thus we lost £80 which leaves a bad feeling toward the owners. That said the course is still a tough track and a good challenge

First Time Playing

The course is in a very nice location and somewhere I would like to play again. However on the day there were too many players on the course which spoilt the game. Play was so slow that it was not possible to finish the 18 holes before it got dark. (My friend and I teed off just after 12 noon!)

Good challenging course

A 9 hole course with lots to offer. A challenging course to any golfer but also a good course to any new golfer as it’s fairly quiet and not rushed

Hidden Gem

First time playing here and despite there being no club house, found the course to be in great condition especially the greens.
The course is interesting with its challenges, but the addition of bunkers would make the course more challenging.
However if you want a pleasant 9 holes and it is about the golf and no frills this is course is ideal.

Value for Money

For £25 a round it's hard to fault this place. Really friendly, well drained and good condition. I've played much worse for much more money.

No frills - the clubhouse is a shed - but if you just want to play golf, without spending a load, it's perfect.

Course index??

Great course. Very tough as some of the indexes are idiotic.
You would need to okay the course to see exactly what I mean.
The best example is hole 6 and 15.

Really good challenge of golf

A difficult course needing course managing and some demanding Tee shots.. main problem is the indexes on the course are somewhat confusing and in need of review for example the tougher holes are not accurate index wise yet the easier par 3 holes carry a low index.this is confusing to the low handicappers.overall though a really good test of golf.
