Course a bit shabby this time, Also partnered with other golfers.

I booked a 1 ball hot deal for a little practice round to work out a kink in my approach shots. However on arrival I found I'd been partnered with other golfers. These guys looked as disappointed as me, and it transpired they were competing in a long standing 20 year wager with each other. I couldn't play through the four ball ahead of us who were as slow as winter.

Aside from that the course was looking a lot shabbier than the last time I played I'm not sure I'll be going back even at the pretty low price I got it for.

Not sure if 'hot deal' means you might be partnered with other golfers or whether you might be partnered with other golfers anyway with any type of booking through Teeofftimes.co.uk. Maybe it's just the policy of this course? I'd like to know and it should be made clearer.

This course is a very testing course with fast greens

I really enjoyed my round playing here. It's a challenging course which I really liked, fast greens, loads of slopes, few short Par 4's but the rest are 400 yards. Overall extremely good

A good round on a well conditioned course

The course is always in good condition, and this was no different. The greens were hard and difficult to stop the ball on. They were running true, but were slow. A few of the par 5's could be longer or made into par 4's but this may have been because of the forward tee positions. All in all, I would recommend this course, if you have £40 to spend.

Nice and decent course - great greens

Really liked this course. I've only been playing for 4 months so still a bit of a novice but great staff, lovely setting, nice blend of holes (long, medium and short) and quite open so I only lost one ball (I'm normally 3ish at the mo).

Really liked the greens. Best I've played on yet. It wasn't too busy either (Monday in January) so got around at a pace of my choosing. Would recommend it.

The greens a lovely

We were not told about the temporary greens and no sign on the tee to let us know that the temporary greens were 100 to 150 yards shorter. Besides that the course was well maintained.
