great afternoon out late Oct

Always visit F Pines each year ,sometimes a few times. Played late Oct, great condition, greens fab, smooth, fast, holding. Nice to se leaves been swept up and taken away in machines , tidy. Pace of play great took 3.50 hrs 18 holes. We were 4 and 9 handicap 2 lost balls though sprayed a few .
Always enjoy this course tight a t times but fair.

Great bar after nice pint becks with of course sky sports on Tv, Easy to get to pines all motorway.. will be back again next year...

Game of two halves

We had a buggy and played Forest and Pines courses. Seemed like we had the Forest 9 holes to ourselves and made great time.
It was a different story on the Pines course. We got behind a 4 ball who were extremely slow and never looked like they were considering waving us through despite the fact we waited on every tee while they searched for lost balls.
It was a shame as it spoiled what could have been a great experience on a lively course.

First class

Played here after many courses where closed due to bad weather, rang and spoke to the most helpful staff with all the time in the world, and dealt with many questions as I'm still fairly new to golfing at higher end courses, arrived and greeted with excellence again, played on what can only be described as perfection, greens immaculate after bad weather enjoyed every minute even if we did get soaked

Firest Pines winter golf

Course was in excellent condition and pro shop very friendly and helpful. However bar prices were expensive £24 for 4 drinks !!! Also food prices were high for quality of meal served. Advise play here and find elsewhere for after game refreshments.

Well looked after!!!

You can tell that this course is well maintained. Despite being the middle of November I thought the course was in excellent condition everywhere you looked there was staff either blowing leaves or collecting leaves to keep the fairways clear.
The greens were immaculate.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone of any handicap! It’s testing but rewarding!!!

Forest Pines, Forest & Pines loops

Courses were in excellent condition with greens well kept and challenging

There are some really good golf holes here with holes well bunkered and bunkers well kept with good levels of sand and all (that I visited) with rakes

You need to be straight ish here but the courses are a little forgiving with wayward shots fairly easy to find and recover from.

Staff ok but food and drink expensive by golf club standards

Well worth a visit at these prices!!

Fabulous facilities

The course and location is fantastic love the forest course. The snag the greens had been prepared so the putting game was hit and hope sand covered after been spiked shame. Beeches was more playable. But completely enjoyed the round just a little bit of the experience taken away.

A fantastic course and great value for money!

I never waste my time writing reviews but after playing at forest pines it would be rude not to. You can tell this course is very well kept, so hats off to the management and grounds men! Really enjoyed playing here and I would highly recommend.

Friendly Corporate Course

My friend and I played here on a mid-afternoon reduced rate. He was welcomed in the Pro-Shop and as we made our way to the first tee one of the Course Marshalls checked we were okay and told us about the second nine's starting tee.
The first nine holes (Pines) were very good: we had played these before. The second nine were much better than we had been led to believe. It includes a number of long par fours that test the accuracy of the tee.
A thoroughly enjoyable game.
