Great course for a beginner

I've taken up golf in the last 6 months and really enjoyed playing at fulneck for some practice over winter. I've played once with my dad and once with my father in law, both experienced golfers who were both pleasently surprised and enjoyed the course.

Winter on a sunday

I arrived on time but no shop open and no real layout to show how to get on, other than that I'd say it was great and well kept. I imagine in summer it will be very nice to play.

Very challenging

Very challenging 9 hole course in a beautiful setting, course was in great condition and despite work being done on the greens we had a excellent day. New bar terrace and choice of food available make it a definite hidden gem. Steep 9th hole and the walk round certainly gives you a work out.

Great day

Played this course for the fist time, took a bit of finding as no signage from Roker Lane. But once found everyone was very friendly and the course was in mint condition. The only downside is the 9th which is up a rather steep hill which is not for anyone with a weak heart and if you play 18 holes you have to go up the hill twice. Nevertheless I would definitely recommend this course. They serve great food & drink and it is the perfect spot to eat out on the terrace. We will be returning very soon.

It was pleasure to play on a well kept course, in a countryside location close to Pudey and Leeds.
Staff very friendly and a good atmosphere outside the Clubhouse.for refreshments.

Great Views & Nice course

A very nice course situated in a valley with a very nice river, and views throughout. Course was quiet and was perfect for the nice casual round we were after. Not for you if you want a flat course, some holes are very steep! Would recommend though and great value for money

Challenging little course

Fairly short course that feels like it plays longer due to the gradient changes. The final hole tests your fitness.... take a good breather when you get to the green.

The course was in good condition considering the time of year. Still playing off the winter tees. Greens were in good condition.
