Lovely course at a great price

Great course, with some very tricky holes. Don’t be drawn in by the shorter than average par 4’s. What they lack in length, they more than make up for with hazards. Where you put the ball is definitely better than how far you drive.
This is probably down to the weather, but the greens were very slow as the grass on there was longer than normal. Once we got use to the pace, it actually helped us though. Will definitely play again soon.

Course cancelled without notification

Still not been refunded for course being shut. The chap on the counter was not helpful at all and stated we should get in contact with Golf Now ourselves to get the money back.

Brandesburton on a windy Saturday

Firstly- price was excellent, great value.
Pro shop welcoming and clubhouse looked like a good atmosphere even tho we didn’t hang around. Conditions of course for time of year excellent- a challenging day in wet and wild conditions so it wasn’t a good day on the score card! Will definitely be going back

Lovely course in rural setting - but they do not live in COVID World

A lovely course and we enjoyed our day out.

The Pro Shop guy could hardly look up from his Computer to greet us. Nit a warm welcome.

The buggy was dirty and clearly unsanitised - we wiped it down and cleaned it ourselves.

Play was slow and frustrating at the end with 2 guys dawdling.

Bar states ‘do not stand at the bar’ but you have to as the girl was not there to see to your order. Tables outside were not cleared or sanitised.

As I say, a nice day out but they need to realise there is a Pandemic and be more friendly to Visitors.

Very interesting course

Played here twice now. Nice, interesting course. First time, we were held up massively by a 3 ball, however the next time it was a lot better. Overall, a good course to play. The cons are the greens seem to be very slow and the bar could do with a better selection of beers! (But that's minor!

Mint

We decided to play this course on our way back from a weekend in bridlington.we couldn't play Beverly golf course because there was no buggys available the pro at Beverly told us to try hainsworth .we weren't disappointed . from the welcome from the Pro in the shop and finishing with a pint and lovely food before we came home to Mansfield I've played on nearly 300 courses from the USA to courses in Europe this one is in my top15 . it's a must.

Great course

Now a member here the course is in great condition. Credit to a new look green keeping team. Greens are very good, fairways and rough cut back under trees. Bar area recently refurbished. Friendliest club in the area. Many returning members having tried elsewhere. Give it a try.

Disappointed

Booked this course on a weekend golfing trip and was left a little disappointed . Very uninspiring up and down course. Back 9 was better and Park land nice. Challenging fairways which was Not a problem but out of our 3 courses played in East Riding over the weekend this is one we would not return to even though it was the most expensive. Plus side pro shop very friendly and club house bar and catering staff were lovely. . This is a honest fair review better courses around .

Excellent course

We played there yesterday for the first time. The course layout is really good and the greens are fantastic. Due to the weather the course was cutting up a little which is to be expected this time of year. Enjoyed it that much we have booked back on again for today. Looking forward to playing here many more times in the future.

Great value for money

Decent track! Not a long course, but a nice layout. For the money (£22 a round) it’s great value. Very friendly. Greens were good and nice short game area. Would recommend.

Poorly Kept

Fairways were like deep rough, most of the bunkers and a lot of the course was marked G.U.R (ground under repair). Granted it was raining but roughly 12 of the 18 holes were full of water with the greens flooded. Couldn’t find the next tees as there wasn’t any sign postage, had to run to find them first.

Price was cheap but I wouldn’t pay that again for the condition of the course at the time I played.

Staff were friendly.

Practice area was okay but had to walk across a muddy area to get there.

For an average golfer there are too many trees in the middle of fairways to hit. However the fairways are wide.

Would only play again on the condition the grounds are sorted.

Thanks.

Friendly people, course condition not great.

Playing in November, I don't expect courses to be in perfect condition but this was below average, particularly the fairways. Maybe the very dry summer has contributed to the problem but it has not been well looked after.

Good course, good challenge, great staff/members

Not played Hainsworth Park for a couple of years, but always wanted to return as I enjoyed when I last played. the opportunity came through Tee off Times, wasn't disappointed. Even though we were in the middle of the Hottest summer in over 20 years, the course was still in great condition & and very true. Staff & Members couldn't have been more helpful, definitely worth a visit

Great all round course

Hainsworth park is a lovely but very tricky course, although the weather was typically English (heavy rain and strong wind) the course played beautifully, nice quick greens and some heavy rough you don't want to drive into too often, off the course is the golf room-an indoor golf simulator which looked like it would be a rather nice addition to any course.
