9 hole course x2

The course itself is decent enough in a nice setting and there are a couple of challenging holes, but there are only 9 holes which you play twice in the same order, which can create a back log! You can get on for £10 before 8 at a weekend though. Staff were friendly and the hotel and bar looked nice!

Fab Course

Played today with my husband. Friendly staff , the course layout is great. Signage a bit confusing but got there in the end. Beautiful views and lovely amenities.
Had the most delicious fish and chips at the hotel bar.
Great place to chill and enjoy a good conversation with friends. Would visit again.

Slow pace of play

The course is alright but I was unlucky to have a group of 4 players and a group of 2 players who were (all of them new starters) and the pace of play was slow. They didn't replace divots and they didn't let me through. I was playing slowly, but I had to wait for every shot.

Hallgarth golf course

Strangely it's the same price for 9 and 18 holes. Course in very decent condition. It is a 9 hole course with some separate tees for back 9. It works pretty well bit I guess there could be issues at busy times.

Hidden Gem

Probably the best value golf I’ve ever played, booked last minute and cost £12 for 18 holes. Course in lovely condition, The fact it’s 9 holes with different tee boxes helped my game as you get a ‘second chance’’ will definitely be playing there again

Hall Garth 👍

Played a few times and the course is well kept. Greens were good, played true. A challenging course and certainly doesn’t feel like a 9 hole course. Well worth a round.

First time playing here

I have been out of the game for a few years now and this was my first round in a long time. Pretty much starting back as a beginner.
The course was fairly quiet. Tee off at 2pm
First 9 was finding my feet, while the back 9 (front 9 with some different Tee off locations which can be tricky to find especially hole 7) much better end to the day.
The location was nice and secluded, members and other players were friendly enough we allowed a number to pass us.
Some very nice long drives with some interesting pitching spots. Found the greens to be in okay condition alot of sand on them and played fairly slow.
Overall we both enjoyed the course and would likely to return especially when Golf Now offer great deals
