Excellent value !
Although Uxbridge is only 12 holes (and has been for many years), there is stil a lot to enjoy here :
. the sloping fairway on the 1st, to attack a small green.
- the elevated tee to the par 3 2nd
- the driveable (but not by me) short 3rd
- the 2 big slogs uphill for the long par 4 holes 6 &12
- the 'big dip' and then uphill to the par 5 8th hole
- the precision required on the drive for the dog leg 10th
Course was in great condition and I would recommend this course for a pleasant round. if not too challenging.
Best value in Middlesex
What can I say that hasn't been said already ? Basically Uxbridge is the BEST run, maintained & efficiently staffed course I've played since the lockdown has been lifted. Everything about the course, from booking in at the car park, to receiving a map & scorecard before the 1st, through to finishing at the 12th hole is superb.
On top of all this is the wonderful price & the flexibility of tee times.
Playing it periodically over the years
Really pleased with the condition of the course
Also well managed
In view of the present safety situation very pleased
Intend to play more regularly
Good value 12 holes
£6 for 12 holes really good value for money, staff dealing with Covid situation very friendly and helpful. Most of the course is in good condition, but spoilt by noise and rubbish blown on to holes 4 & 5 from refuse tip next door, and the condition of the green on hole 8, which is really disappointing after the long slog up the hill!! Would have loved to have a beer at the finish, but not to be!
Great Value Course
Only £6 for a 12 hole round & the course was in really good condition. Only the green on the 8th was not in great nick.
12 hole not 18 hole
I was told by the staff on the day to play only 12 hole as I booked for 18 hole . Which was really disappointed for me.
Value for money
I don’t understand why it has to be a 2ball or 3, why cant a single golfer play as long as he adheres to social distance.
It’s a very well maintained, excellent value course with a killer par 5.
Will definitely be back
For the price of a buckets of balls, you get 12 holes
Cheap as chips, 12 holes, some are still long and challenging.
Please allow more than 2 balls, and why can't single players book a tee time?
Played here hundreds of times, but first time since January. The course was in excellent conditions considering the dry weather and lockdown.
The greens were very slow, the par 5 seventh was dried out. Tees fairly tidy. Fairways very good. They spaced the tees nicely so there was no rushing required. There was the odd group of people sitting around in the sun As if it was a public park, but not unduly disruptive. Bargain for 18 holes.
Enjoyable, pleasant course .
Never hurried and no golf snobs to look down on you. Ideal for relaxing midweek game of golf. Staff are friendly and no pretentions of big clubs.
