Too short
Far too short for a proper challenge Other than that a good course
Worth a visit
The course is tight and challenging in places but it really only challenges your accuracy and course management. Patience is key here. Be prepared to take a 6 iron off the tee on the short par 4's. Greed will get you in trouble as you can run out of room quickly.
It can also be a challenge to get yardages correct. For example, the 16th is a par 3 of something 180/90 yards but there is a huge dip between the tee and green making the hole play a fair bit shorter than it's yardage.
The front and back 9's make the course feel like two different courses with the front 9 being tight and short and the back 9 being a more open with longer holes.
It is a short course with a par of 65 but it is a really lovely walk (with some very steep hills to climb). The greens were very fast on the front 9 but a little slower on the back. There also seemed to be a problem on some greens with what appeared to be holes from a woodpecker making a bit of a mess. That's the price for being in such a lovely wildlife friendly spot I guess.
Two of us completed 18 holes in under 3 hours which was great.
If you want a pleasant walk with fantastic views that will test your accuracy then I recommend this course. If you want to blat off the tee with your driver on most holes then it's not for you. There are 8 par 3's!
Entertaining course, but too short
The course provided an entertaining round of golf. Some quite challenging holes with doglegs and decent accuracy required. This is offset by the fact that the hazards on either side of the fairways are unlikely to eat your balls as the neighbouring fairways are close, so offer some relief to inaccurate shots.
There is a lot of height variation on the course which I found added to the interest, and results in some very pretty holes.
The negatives are the fact that the course is very short. It started life as a 9 hole course which they have extended to 18 holes, but had to do so with limited space. This made the extended holes (the 1st 9) quite on top of each other and rather short. The 2nd 9 play a lot better.
In all it was well worth a visit, but may not be to everyone's taste.
Nice people and lovely setting
The course is a little short but that’s OK, always need to practice the short game and it’s priced reasonably. The greens Which can be a little bobbly were better than usual on this last occasion although the whole course was a little dry. Balls really running on a little too far. Facilities including driving range are good, staff and members generally friendly and nice setting for a beer.
Third time
Was a good round a tad slow though as well as other golfers not being considerate and waving through where possible, Greens still not

Course is very picturesque and I like course that punish stray shots, but allow you to find and play the ball (eg trees mowed underneath - but there is some water to avoid. a couple of quirky holes but we got around in 3 hours 40 even though a couple of holes were slower due to a back up,.
Average course
Challenging course, unfortunately greens were is poor condition due to over covered in sand or divots that other layers hadn't fixed.
Lovely course for evening golf
2nd time playing this course.
Great value in the green fees.
Some steep hills - feel it on legs after.

Nice ease back into golf after lockdown, front 9 was very picturesque with some interesting short holes, then the back 9 was more challenging, overall it was a lovely days golf with a couple of beers after on the terrace (2 meters apart obviously)
Great test for accuracy and course management
Relatively short course and you probably won’t need a driver, however this is a great test of your course management skills and accuracy off the tees. There are some lovely scenic holes. The front 9 is a good work out and be prepared for some climbing. Many of the holes have dog legs and make you think carefully about club selection. Enjoyed getting round a course in under 3.5 hours! Great value for money.
Has large clubhouse and driving range. What more do you need for a very pleasant round of golf.
Not a balanced Course, too many front 9 par 3s
The layout out of this course is not it's best feature there are too many para 3s at the begging which makes you think whether you booked into a pitch and putt. Other than that course maintenance was below average and overall nothing memorable to highlight apart from low green fees.
Good Layout
Short course however you must be accurate & shape your shots, greens were receptive to high balls, two memorable par 3s uphill to carry over a grassy dip with no danger, there a steep down hill drop to a wide green. There are a few blind shots if you can shape your shots then you will be in a good position to hit the greens. Going back in a week.
Excellent ...will return
Very good course, in great condition and also good value for money. First time we played there and we will definitely play again. Was not aware beforehand of the variety of elevated tee's which, in my opinion, makes a nice change from the usual "flat" courses in this area. Staff are friendly and very helpful.
Great little course
This is a great course hidden away in the hills. It's quite a short course, but very hilly in places. The fairways and greens were in good condition and the staff were great. Would definitely recommend a round.
fitness
